POL-1160

I love it how they tell US to check OUR equipment and connection settings!

I got as far as the FFXI screen, then it won't even let me get past checking version.....network busy......retry....network busy........retry....

FUCK SE!

Sorry about the double post. Apparently everyone who can't download the update is on here and lagging this server lol.

Whats the point of them saying its gonna be done at this time? THey should just say it wont be done til tomorrow or something, cuz half of the people (like myself) wont ever get in.

Mine keeps stalling at the:

Checking FINAL FANTASY XI version...
Verifying DNAS...
Do not remove devices while connecting.

Then eventually i get a POL-1160 and I retry over and over and over...

This is what we see. :?

XD Yeah, that's what I see everytime I get an error...>>

Patience people!!

When there are 12,000+ people trying to log onto their account, yes...I would predict some sort of traffic jam. DUH!

omg, stayed up so late just so i could start my update, finally did it, just woke up and ERROR! YOU STUPID SONS OF BITCHES!

I updated it all right after it was done (at like 4am or some stupid time because I couldnt sleep anyway) and it still won't actually let me in even though I'm done the update.

12 hours and counting..... How the hell does SE suck this bad?

So this is like a 48 hour Update and conveniently on the only 2 days I have off work.

1,000 files eh? Not too horrible.. as long as it doesn't stall.

Mine has stalled about 24 times now (yes, I've been counting how many times its been downloading then given me the -1160 finger). I missed Dynamis and an Uggalepih Pendant run for this. /Hurray.
