POL NEWS : Accounts Banned (Aug. 27)

So my PoL password is different and I cant log on... did i get banned or did shit go wrong and someone changed it without me knowing?

I dont think anyone can connect to PoL at the moment. As for getting banned .. you should already know if you're banned. If you cheated then yes there's a pretty good possibility you're gone. If not then you probably have nothing to worry about.

You got hacked? You can still log on when banned you just get the BANNED screen. Why you done something to get banned? LOL

Just lol windower.

I guess i got hacked, theres only one person besides me that knows my acc info and hes a respected qcdner. Not like that earns him merit but he has control of the account (cc info) so its not like he would do that to steal. Anyway time to call PoL

Yes you can connect to POL and his password wouldn't have changed even if he was banned.

I do know passwords are CAPS sensitive and my brother didn't even realize he Caped one of the letters in his password and I couldn't log in his guy until we realized that. So may check that otherwise I don't know what to tell you.

Are you sure you not just getting a "Network Connection Error"? 'cause I'm getting that also.

Oh right, yeah I am logged into PoL, just can't get to the normal FFXI Log screen Network Error.
 
Its not a connection error, its the "You have entered an invalid username / password" BS.

and my password is all numbers so no caps lock thing there.

This sucks i really dont want to call POL

That's probably the one on your own comp then, and not the one to login to PlayOnline, because I get the Network Error screen with both correct and wrong password.
 
I can't even connect at all.
 
One day when they decide to end this game they are gonna put out an announcement like this. XXXX accounts banned for having no lives. Not like any of us can argue... see you guys in 4 hrs or so ingame. >.>
