You know, its hard for SE to trace that.
If you really want to get the problem fixed bad enough, do something creative instead of go complain about it all the time. All that time spent complaining etc. would have been much better spent by finding out what causes it.
As an example, call your ISP. See if they have problems. Explain your problem, and ask if there's anything you can do. they will most likely tell you to perform a route trace.
Now, you can call PlayOnline customer service. Explain your problem and, and tell them what your ISP said. Tell them they reccomended you to perform a route trace, and ask customer service what you should ping or trace to.
Before you do this, simply ping and trace google. You can do a constant ping to google to see if you have any packets that drop.
Once customer service gives you an address to ping (I don't remember the exact address, but I believe they have 4 - pol0, 1, 2 and 3), and ping/trace those. See where the tracing stops and which hops have a high ping.
And with these simple steps, you'll have immediatly helped SE out to solving the problem with only a few minutes of your time. And you'll have done something creative which will lead to your problem gettign solved
fasterinstead of sitting on your ass complaining about it and expect someone else to solve all of your life's problems.
To start off, you might just want to open the command prompt and type
tracert www.playonline.com and see if you time out on that.
If several people do this you can isolate where the problem is, and thus get it fixed faster.
The way internet works is that it finds the fastest route to its destination. If a bottleneck occurs, the packets can be dropped resulting in a time out, and you'll DC. If you know where the problem is, you can fix it faster. It also allows you to manually chose another route to take and thus completely skip the bottleneck in the first place, resulting in you not having to DC, although with slightly higher latency.
So yes, stop complaining and do something creative with your time.
