POL news : Balrahn weapons

Now the real question is how to upgrade them ? Nyzle assaults ? Assaults ? Salvage ? Einherjar ? I will lol if it's Einherjar.

i will lol if its like 1 million ampules.

That'd take 2 years of constantly spamming tier 3 einherjars twice a week >_>

I don't think they will combine Nyzul and Einherjar to upgrade the weapons, but who knows.

what seems most logical is you have to buy 'something' with nyzul isle tokens
but can't rule out einherjar either

That'd screw over the people who used their runic discs >_<

1million token nyzul weapons ewwie :\

this punk should have found a bow instead of an xbow. >.<

one of his eyes was taken out by a lolpup with fancy claws...

I think he only grabbed what he could after that...

is it me or is the blue sword kinda ugly? Never really been a fan of gold...

Nope. SE said something about buffing the current Relics(maybe the ws) to keep them better than these.

I didn't say "better", I said "better designed". Let's face it, some Relics (Claustrum, Excalibur, Mjollnir for examples) don't play well to the primary purpose of the jobs that can equip them. Yeah, Excalibur is an awesome sword. It has no defensive attributes, doesn't hold hate any better than any other sword, really, and doesn't really fulfill the primary purpose of PLD well. Hauteclaire does a better job of that for the most part. Yeah, Claustrum is a spiffy staff and the added effect of its WS is huge. Again, however, it has no real benefit for a caster, etc. Ditto for Mjollnir.

I misread then.

On that matter, to be honest, I doubt it. I think it'll be the same: mage weapons crap for mage jobs outside of solo/playing around :\

I dunno, hopefully since they're job specific they'll do more than just make mage

weapons just for soloing and playing around.

The Thief dagger looks like a fucking gypsy bejeweled a turd and put it on a stick. And I bet all it will have is like... steal +1.

All it needs is some googly eyes.

I thought at first the nin weapon was actually the scythe, since you know, it has the right shape.. but no. Drks get an ugly looking thing. Ffff.

As far as appearances go, I'd say Rdm, Pld, and Drg got the good deals.

I do too.

And as long as it has killer damage, it can look like whatever the hell it wants as far as I'm concerned.

I sure wished I worked for SE I would've made it into a far eastern pogo stick after I was finished with it

it was seized by Balrahn and added to his collection, stating simply that bards, "don't need daggers to sing."
I laughed, because it is so true.

is it me or do some of these sound like they will have enspell dmg?
The current Nyzul weapons very rarely get an additional effect that no one really knows how to trigger. So I'd say it is highly likely that they will all get additional effects.

I just had an idea. Maybe they will add currency drops from einherjar lol.... like they did in dynamis and limbus.

... i like the scythe

so do I.

But SE better flip those kamas around. The way that NIN hold their katana is cool and all, but holding kamas like that is ridiculous. Yeah comparing RL to a game is dumb, but omg, the way the NIN already hold their katana is impractical, now hold a mini scythe upside down.
