no one said the RDM puppet were a better nuker then a BLM.

PUP would be rather overpowered if they had A- H2H skill. Do slightly less damage then WAR, NIN and MNK by itself, and its puppet dealing decent damage as well. Would make PUP + pet deal MORE damage then other jobs, which isn't what SE intended. Hence why PUP have lower combat skills then pure melee jobs.

SE never intended for PUP to be a pure melee job with the ability to outdamage other melee jobs. They intended for them to be able to adapt to the situation they're needed in. Be a decent DD, a decent healer, a decent soloer, a decent w/e. But not be the best in any of them. A jack of all trades, if you like.

Admitedly, it is worse then what they intended for it to be. However, it CAN be good if played right, and with the new WHM and BLM heads, it only gets better.

Maybe because your dont know what pup can wear ? Full plw set first. All "all job" stuff like acc ring/belt/necklace/headpiece ... Full usukane set. And yes rdm and brd have better skill but still the master itself oyutdmg them ^^
 
Random thought: Puppets need to be scaled to the master the same way chocobos are. C'mon, how can Moink possibly pull the strings when his automaton is taller than he is? =P

I simply responded saying that no, it does not do more damage then a BLM. The damage from them, however, is not a joke. They out damage a RDM's. How many RDMes can do 800+ Aero III's non-MB'ed?

2) Pchan never said the puppetmaster itself can out-DD a NIN. He's stating a PUP can outdamage other melees.

Note: a PUP is the full job. As in, master + pet, not one or the other.

Forgive me but I took the following as him saying they can out DD NIN.
