I have to disagree with it being about having a "better sense not to waste their time"
There's nothing wrong with partaking in whatever event they put into the game. It's about fun entertainment. Some people like to break the redundancy and try new things. What's "stupid" for you might be a nice change of pace for others.
What else is more important?
1. Posting here?
2. Doing more sky to get more points, so you can hopefully lot that digital item before you linkshell breaks?
3. Posting here again?
4. Making your character fall asleep for tp, so you can be invited to the main alliance, so you can kill that nm, so you can get more points, so you can lot that ever so important item?
5. do another post on QCDN?
6. Waiting around the Thickets (or where ever) hoping that whm gets his stagging done so you can get more merits?
Writing a poem for the game is light hearted fun to me as I'm sure it is for others. I wouldn't be so quick to label something as Stupid.
