POL NEWS : New Items Galore! (12/13/2006) AF3 ???

How many people have multi jobs? Like bajaratt who has mnk and whm. 2 different sets of gear needed with crap load of rare/ex gear. If you using 1 piece of af it cant be stored if you change 1 af to +1 it cant be stored. olddum tav ring are still somewhere your 150 spots regardless if in inventory or locker. The lvl 50 jse body piece from subligar pieces can not be stored. Course every person different and has different gear. The list was more of a "hey they can have all this stuff" not that they hold all that stuff. You said you don't know how anyone can fill 150 slots, that how. Multi jobs, multi gear. Not even including crafting gear/mats for those who craft.

I still run around with like 7 free slots, and that's even though I have a toolbag stack of each and every NIN tool, and a lose stack of every tool too. I also have some random bolts and bolt quiver stacks from when I were lvling RDM.

And I max out every possible aspects of my jobs. I'm sure someone with just 2, 3, or even 4 different jobs can do the same too. Hell, even if he have 10 different jobs lvled, the general gear used for every job is pretty much the same except for AF. But I do believe I already brought that point up.

New Abjurations aren't an answer to anything. It's an idiotic, useless middle man. Just make the armor itself drop from the HNM if you're going to go that route again.

You forget that curse items are big market in the crafting market, as well as the items used to craft them.

Again. Abjurations are a pointless, time consuming middle man. If they want stuff to drop from HNMs, make it the actual armor. If you want stuff crafted, make it pop out functional. The combination of the two to yield one result is what makes it so unpopular. Not because Abjurations come from HNMs, but because of the actual system in place.

The point im making is that there alot of diffent ra/ex items, Alot of items like opo-opo crown or Mst. Cst. Bracelet which are not use that often tend to clutter your mog house.



To make long story short.. there just to many ra/ex gear out there and not enough space to put them.

I don't think you're getting why the abjuration system is horrible. More cursed equipment is made than there are abjurations being dropped. Besides, who the fucks stopping RMT from selling cursed items? The shits crafted for Christs sake.

If you want to do the craft + drop item route, pop NMs with crafted items is a much better option.

You just have to know how to be smart with your gear.,

An example is Mahatma Slops instead of Jet Seraweels. You can also store your old AF's from other jobs, or store full sets. I think I have 1 set of every storable low level set stored.

Uhh, GS for other servers are killing Kings and selling ABJs, killing Tiamat and selling Gaiters and Kotes.

I STILL THINK A LOT OF THE NEW EQUIPMENT WILL JUST BE USELESS AND/OR SIMPLY TOO HARD TO OBTAIN TO BE WORTH IMPLEMENTING IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THAT IN THE END SE IS APPEALING TO NO ONE BY ADDING MOST OF THIS NEW ARMOR.

Zomg, its completely obvious from the pictures what jobs those gearz go to, what the stats are, how hard they are to obtain, where they are obtained from, and the meaning of life. Duhhhhh.

Yeah, someone already suggested it could be relic armor for the new jobs, but relic armor is usually just a recolor of artifact armor; and I don't know which of the 3 jobs would be in heavy armor like that. It's possible, but not likely.

I would imagine that the heavy armor gear can be used as the same jobs as homan gear, the nin looking gear is most likely for jobs that didnt get in the homan/nashira set, and the light armor is for jobs that use the nashira set.

My all time favorite was the big hype for the Yigit Gear. SE said something like "Bestows the wearer with great amounts of magical something or other when all 5 pieces are worn," obviously referring to refresh. Then you get the full set and it's all LOL1MP/TICK!!!! Five pieces to do what many other pieces of gear can do in one.

Yes, but that 1mp per tic amounts to +3mp while healing on a set that, when worn together will allow you to have the hottest +hmp in the game.

I have it. It is worth it. I'll never rest in anything else. It might be 1mp/tick, but it's 1mp/tic that wasn't there before.
