no. they didnt add em in last update. so theyre probably coming into beseiged in this one.
 
And while the Zerg deals with Hydra, Cerberus, and Khimaira, I'll be fighting stuff that doesn't have grossly overpowered AEs. Though between Mamool Ja NMs doing Groundburst, Merrows doing Rising Swell, and Aerial Torpedoes with their insane AE Burn.. kinda hardpressed to find mobs that don't have any.

I'm not even talking about Nerve Gas and Gates of Hades. Hydra spams Barofield enough with only a single alliance fighting it, and imagine all the Lava Spits with 200+ People hitting Cerberus. Thunderstrike and Dreadstorm are pretty retarded too.

Nevermind their Flail attacks, because you know some morons are going to be hitting these guys from behind. All it takes is time to lose hate in Besieged, then someone behind them'll be at the top of the list.

Do you honestly believe that? If they never changed Mijin Gakure from Mamool Ja Sappers/Qufeel Ja to survivable, why alter moves that are survivable?

It's not because the moves are strong that'll make them pains in the ass to fight, it'll be the frequency that you'll see the moves.

Even if all the players wise up and don't fight them from behind, we'll still have our retarded AI soldiers doing it.

Was gonna say something like "If they're as strong as they are in the field, then 50 people on them would bring em down rather quick", but then I remembered that
1. Besieged versions of the mob are massively stronger
2. At least 25% of the people in besieged are just skilling up
3. Crap like Gates of Hades isn't watered down by number of people it hits, that & Besieged lag = people're gonna die, big time

This hopefully won't wind up being a problem, but I'd assume people would hafto take Besieged somewhat more seriously in order to win from now on. But even then, with the lag, some of the AOEs that hafto be stunned will just make it impossible.
 
If you can even land stun. Remember, Magic is hampered in Besieged. Only people merited out the wazoo and in top grade gear can even hope to land something in one cast.

Did they ever add Cerberus, Chimera, and Hydra to Besieged? I can't recall ever running into them since the last update...maybe lvl7 will include them?

I guess if they do something similiar to what I said about Mercenary Rank affecting you in Besieged, they won't be too bad.

It's not like they can't make a check to see what rank you are when besieged starts, you have a freaking key item.

That's what we're assuming since there's nothing left for them to throw at us. More flunkies wouldn't do much since most of them die within minutes anyhow.
 
How about AF2 armor storage? or just storage for any/all Ra/Ex equipment? Lord knows its getting to be a total pain in the ass to mule all your non-ex gear so you can get something done on a job that isnt your main.

That'd be nice for the people who have the full Relic set. (Wouldn't be able to store any of mine though, +1 Cleric...eh...)


Also be nice if they fixed it so the Costume Belts and Charm Wand were storable (For some reason you can store Charm Wand +1, but not Charm Wand. Eh...)


Think they might implemented Zerstoerer and Adaman Breastplate? One could hope...though, PLDs rarely even use Jelly Ring anymore, so don't think the Breastplate would become too popular of an addition...

I use my Jelly Ring all the time. Hard to match -5% damage taken with anything but a Defending Ring.

Salaheem's Sentinels starts with an imaginary rank (PSC) and goes to:
Army E-3/Marine E-2
Imaginary rank (SP)
Marine E-3
Army/Marine E-4
Army/Marine E-5
Army/Marine E-9

In the real world, E-5s can and regularly do get commissioned as officers. Sometimes people as advanced as E-6 can make officer before they hit the age limit for commissioning (27 in the Air Force). After that, however, a military member is committed to the enlisted ranks going all the way up to E-9 (special). E-9s represent the enlisted equivalents of generals... they've spent their entire 20+ year careers reaching that point. I'm sure FFXI made the jump from E-5 to E-9 simply because they wanted the last 3 ranks to be officer ranks.
 
Adaman breastplate has already been implemented.. Its called The Assualt Breastplate..

-10% phys damage/+10% magic damage vs +15 all elemental defenses is a far difference between each other, but I do see what you mean, in a way...

Can't believe people are actually willing to pay 40m for that thing.

Adaman Breastplate and Assault Breastplate is far from similiar...


It's like saying Shadow Ring and Shadow Mantle is the same thing... well, not really, but closest I could come up with atm :P
