POL Updates

Your pc sucks get a new one... or ur connection sucks get a better one.What a waste of flameboard space lol
 
That happens a lot, people just flood the servers trying to get in so its hard for most people to get in right when the updates are done.

heh heh My PC is brand new and My internet connection was fine cause I was using my laptop on the internet between trying to connect. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail for at LEAST 12 hours after a POL update download. Not after maintenance AFTER THE DOWNLOAD.

And I find it hard to believe that people are still flooding the servers 10-12 hours AFTER I've downloaded hte update. I always connect just fine to download but the second the download is installed BAM, nothing. I don't normally sit there and wait for maintenance to get done so I can log on as quickly as possible afterward. I work during the times that they do that normally. I'll get home an hour or three later, AFTER the time that the server flooding should have ended.
 
I wish there was a customer service guy I could sucker punch or kick in the balls right now....

Anyone else seeing the Error code Pol-1160?

When your phone or cable are down, and you talk to the respective companies, they give you a refund for "loss of service" for those days. Its not much I know, but its a curtesey, and I think very nice. Getting 40 cents from S-E wont make my problems go away, it would just be a nice gesture that they acctualy care about us. :roll:
 
Yeah i have to agree... i dread updates because of the massive influx of update requests by players. Its 2hrs. later and i still cant get the version update. I would have to agree with Falsey though it would be nice if they had some sort of courtesy with the delay of getting the updates. Oh well patience is a virtue.... i suppose lol. See you guys in game :D
 
i just got mpk'd by the server... (1160'd) .... i log back in, download info, and notice that it continued where it left off from, not bad, must be a ps2 thing... but it still sucks my left nut
 
Heh I am paying an extra 30 dollars a month for the fastest internet in my area and yet my buddy using dial up had downloaded this update on his PS2 before I have. I am still downloading now and I started it at 5pm est. been sitting at 94% for an hour now lol.
 
Well, after multiple (we're talking 20+) attempts to download I'm pretty fuckin irritated.

It's not easy, I know - but it does suck to have expected play time today and get nothing.

I also wish my fucking ps2 would stop taunting me... I got the download all the way to 73 percent before I got an error 1160, 0010, 0020, and 0206 or some shit - several times it got above 20 percent and gave an error. It's now 5 hours after the fucking update end time and I still can't get on.

I wouldn't be so pissed if it wouldn't start at all - but it brought me to 73 and gave an error! Insane!
 
What I don't get is, why have it during the day? Midnight sounds alot better...
 
To be honest I was quite satisfied with the original POL but everytime they "Update" it it seem to suck more and more balls. It buhgun to to upgrade from lickin balls to just straight suckin dick. lol

I got stuck at 46% for an hour. I restart get up to 67% bam! same shit happens it goes from sayin 20min to finish to 3+ hours.

Congestion my ass, Your Fuckin SquareEnix maening you got money thus stop being cheap fucks and FIX YOUR GOD DAMN SHIT YOU SORRY BASTARDS!!

Support your damn customers man.

not only am i seeing it im seeing it every fucking 2 minutes when i have to click retry again and again and again
 
Yes it is now 1007pm here in good old Indiana, My husband who also plays (sidebyside in the same room) was able to download and log on hours ago! WTF!! We are in the same damn house. Mine will not even try to download! GRRRRR
