Police assault a man for asking for a complaint form

google: oakland riders. then follow that trail a bit, thats real police assault.

That guy just got a bump on his head. I'd like to see the full tape, I bet he was pushing buttons.

FTP = ?

I honestly can't believe more cases like this don't happen. Policemen are typicaly under huge amounts of stress and have to remain p.c. all the time. Somethings gotta give.

if you check their site, they are investigators into some this sort of thing. Sometimes they set something up to just be a very common non problematic thing, and it sometimes turns into something like this when theyve done nothing wrong.
i found out this video is actually kinda old, The cop was fired and this guy won the court case becaues the full video in court showed he did nothing wrong and the cop did.
Its common too, happened to my brother recently. Hes never done anything wrong in his life, and one day this cop pulls him and his friends over as they were heading home and wouldnt let them get a word in, They were ruffing my brother up and my brother wasnt saying or doing anything back (hes a timid kid) and they took him to jail like an hour away for an incident where he threw a waterballoon a year back (no joke, thats what they took him for). They made his girlfriend and friends find their own way home hours away, and was callin his girlfriend a slut and all kinds of insane crap.
my brother is the most non violent, Timid, shy mammas boy there is. Its sad cops got nothin better to do.
Ive personally had an event like this happen to me, and it literally changed my life and ruined it. I quit school because of it and everything.
I was told i was the leader of the biggest gang in my city lol.
A gang that with hilarity, Doesnt even exist. anyone i hung out with were members too and if anything happend under that gang name, if i knew it or not, over the course of 5 years. I would go to prison for Complicity.
yeah lame and fake, but i was a kid in highschool and i was scared so i believed it, but i knew nothing would happen...cause it didnt exist.
This was all a ploy to keep me away from my then Fiance'. her parents didnt like me cause i was too gothic for them, lol their daughter was more gothic than me...i was a skater XD. I didnt know what happened with her for over 2 years. all because of a lie made up to scare me and my friends.
its a joke with us now adays, but back then it was on the news and scary, Once i get a capture card ill post up some of the videos with a more detailed story on how that all began.
It actually started with me going to the news for help with a gang that was taking over our school....and somehow turned into me having my own gang out of nowhere when that never happened lol.

I think FTP = fuck the police

But yeah, that's terrible, i'm happy as long as that policeman got fired

I'm sure the "he did nothing wrong" was like Mike Myers doing nothing wrong in his video talking to Charlton Heston. Sure he didn't do anything that would have legally justified getting his ass kicked, but I wouldn't have blamed Heston if he did.

This kind of thing happens quite a bit. =(

Poor guy.

If something has to give, they should give up and find a new job. If you are a public servant and you find yourself not serving the publics best interests, get a new job.

Police are trained how to handle tough situations, but out of the ones I have dealt with, "Innocent untill proven guilty" means nothing. They are not paid enough to give a damn. The cops that see it as just a job with neat toys are the ones that give police a bad name. The ones that see it as a way to improve their community and protect their friends and family usually have their head in the right place. You don't see too many of these guys anymore.

in a way it reminds me of the young cop with the bad partner in the movie crash, he was out there to do his job right, and the other cop was doing things to benefit him in anyway he pleased.

QFT..

I'm actually looking into becoming a police officer for that purpose. My life's experience with police officers has led me to have a sort of racist view on police officers mainly because the majority of them are at least somewhat corrupt and only do what they are paid to do. I want to do what I can to help my community and my country and I think being a good police officer would be a good job for me. If not I always have the option of being a computer tech for the rest of my life.

"Mike Myers" is either the Saturday Night Live alum that voices Shrek, or a horror movie character. You're talking about Michael Moore.

Tch, you think that police have it stressed, try joining marching band. Ho damn!

Yeah, heh, I was with the marching band in high school. It's like a military outfit in its own right. We used to practice on the same field as the football players, and I remember thinking that the treatment their coach was giving them was coddling by comparison.

Too true. My freshmen year we practiced on the same field. But during the course of the year, a representitive of the school board was observing that we were working more than the football team and that sometimes the band would even take up some of the football teams space while they were on breaks.

The representitive got the board office to give the band their own field on the other side of the school.
