I was following this Melody Townsel story around, learning all about this poor helpless woman who apparently had been chased around by evil male oppressor John Bolton(aka. the devil), when I stumbled across a website I had never seen before. It's called the "Independant Women's Forum." First thing I expected was, of course, a bunch of women to rally to this Townsel's side... but in fact, I found myself quite surprised. They challenged her credibility.
Yep, Melody Townsel, the government contractor whom Bolton supposedly chased down the hall while throwing things at her in a hotel in Kyrghizstan a decade ago is nowhere to be seen today. Maybe that’s because Townsel ’fessed up to the liberal blogsite Daily Kos that she’d been more or less kicked off two different college newspapers during her youth for plagiarizing stories (one of the papers fired her, and she agreed to stop writing for the other one). Plagiarism is an act of dishonesty that directly affects a witness’s credibility--and it didn’t help that nobody else who was in Kyrghizstan at the time could corroborate her story.

This site is great, I think. It seems to be an outlet for very intelligent feminists who are not idealogically hand-cuffed to the far left extremist views. I found many of the articles very informative and interesting... and intend to spend some time reading up on all of them.

This one I found particulary amusing... http://www.iwf.org/issues/issues_detail.asp?ArticleID=663
Be sure to click to read the complete article at the bottom.

I prefer reading about discursive gender oppression and phallic tyranny........ ;)
