I've seen this done in a few other forums I visit, but not here yet. So I thought it'd be cool to make a thread that has pictures of the desktops on our computers.

I usually like to keep the desktop icons less cluttered, and put most of the programs I use in my Quick Launch bar.

the print screen button ^^ then just paste it into a thing like paint or photoshop and then upload and post

Doesn't work fer me . Neither does FRAPS. Don' get it.

hmmm... odd I dunno then... maybe fraps can't be on while you do it... hmmm

Hit the Print Screen button, the open Paint. Ctrl + V in paint and your picture should be there.

'kay, where do you retrieve the file at, after you've hit prt scr?

Paste it into Paint and save it.

well.. I'm not sure if it's backed up but open up paint or photoshop or whatever graphics thingy j00 have and then paste it into a new file ^^ it should work

It doesn't snap a pic from prt scr. Don' know if it's this damn cordless keyboard or what, but Fraps won't work, nor windower. The only time prt scr works is with the POL screenies.

When you hit print screen nothing obvious will happen. Simply go to you task bar and hit the Start menu. Open up Paint program. When paint loads take your cursor and select Edit. Click paste and your desktop will now be in paint. Go to file, Save as, and choose the location, file type, and location you want it saved in.

I have no icons on my desktop though so it will be a bit bare

I can't stand a bunch of crap on my desktop. I'm soooo friggin' anal. Everything is in taskbar thingy or start menu.
