I don't think infractions are just for the lulz. Granted, Kel, I haven't seen a shit ton of stuff from you crying about how the mods never do anything. However, a lot of the community pisses and moans about how the modmins don't do their jobs right - if at all. I think its funny that - when they do their job - we get a thread like this.
