Posts not being marked as read unless you read them

Used to mark posts read when i logged out of QCDN, so when i came back only what had been posted since my last visit was marked unread. Now everything is staying unread unless i actualy go and read it.

Just click the "Mark Forums Read" button near the bottom.

IT should also tell you what is new since your last visit.

Another problem though:

When I click on "New Posts" I get a list of topics. If I read a topic, or if I post in one, and click on "New Posts" again, it will no longer show up in that list until someone else posts in that topic.

Wouldn't that make sense? It shows new posts in each thread that have been posted since the last time you viewed it, doesn't it?

With every forum i've ever been to, when you click on the "view posts since last visit" it will still include topics you've looked at. I like this because if i've recently looked at a topic, or posted in one and I want to go back to it I can easily pick it out from the list instead of having to remember which section it was originally posted in, and going to find it through the index.

Which option would allow for posts you've already looked at, to still show up in your "list" of "New Posts"?

If you want to see the threads you've posted in, change your subscription option to no email notification and click on subscriptions under quicklinks the menu.

Even when I read a post, it is still marked as unread. This has been a problem since day 1 for me though.

I remember Amidamaru having this thing that showed your browser and IP thought it said IE 8 but it's 7
