Price of Scorpion Harness

simply put, SH comes from Vclaw, Vclaw comes from things with a lot of people involved (while a blm can solo KS30 the drop rate sucks since SE nerfed it which is partly driving the costs up) usually 6 people are taking a part... everyone wants a real big chunk of change so they put it up for more and more... crafters refuse to sell the NQ under costs the way those weirdo leathercrafters sell amemmit mantles for like 5% of the cost of the synth so a SH = a Vclaw in price and an HQ = double... the propotions will likely remain exactly the same regardless on the price of the Vclaw so the SH will jump in price...

it's like asking who pays 3mil for an autumnstone? i put one in my bazaar for 3 mil came back 5 hours later and boom! gone! however the sheepskins at 200g (800 off the AH price) were still there Oo

Also remember

Also with v-claw you have to take into consideration that sellers camp Serket 24-7 now and have pretty much monopolized it. I know for a fact that they've managed to do this to the Cassie Ear Ring (3mil - 5mil +.)
Same thing can be said about Behemoth Skins, Kurei's LS camps him
24-7 with only serious CC on the days KB might pop. So the major issue is also the people that give into the price jacking.

I sold like all my war gear i still can't buy it.!.5 mil short and got 300 bc seals 87 KS seals.I think After 190 days of playing i deserve it kinda so what does enix want more form me!!!

If your in the high lvl game (sky,HNM) buy claw from your ls and just have someone craft it, much easier then AH, i got a V claw for 3.5mill and cost me 5k for the other items for the craft and had a free synth, its that simple.

DAMN IT!!! I had a nice post written and when I hit submit, I get the login screen again!!!! grrr

Anyway, here it goes again:

Skaw, I get your point and let me rephrase mine. I think having a NPC that sells crystals would be nice (like ANY other ingredients) but it is not necessary in my opinion.

You're saying it's almost impossible to farm crystal and have to get them at AH where they are overpriced. But you would still buy them at a NPC, just a little less money.

Plus, crystals are not that hard to get: EXP, Elementals, Choc digging, Gardening, etc. You want fire crystals, go dig in the desert on fire day if you can't kill the elementals. Gardening with regular seeds takes what, 4-5 days? That can easily give you 5-6 stacks of crystals. And if you refer strickly to the act of farming (ie going out and killing stuff wiht no gils spent at all), where again, elementals.

It's like eveything else in this game, some stuff are harder to do, some ingredients are harder to farm. If you want cheap crystals, it takes time, like farming slime oil or whatever ore you need.

So again, a NPC that sells ingredients/crystals would be nice, but far from needed and most likely not a way to save money. If that ever happens, they need to make it a limited supply not to kill any market and we all know what happens with limited supply, guild campers.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents on it and no, empties do not drop crystals.

there are even zone where elementals are out all the time like sky granite it might be a little hard to kill them but if he has all 75 im sure he could handle it

though i agree with the beast seal, and add ancient coins for relic
problem with beast seals is then a person can do bcnm alot and flood the market which would make a negitive inflation

While it would make more items available, it would still be removing gil from the game, which is the bigger issue as to why prices are so high on some things.

though it be nice when I ask some if they want to do a bcnm 60 they dont come back with they dont have enough bc. You also have to think how much ar bc going go for because if anyone is going to take the effort to do the bc and pay for coins then that person going to want between 2 to 3 x that amount back. Also in order for that to work they have to make the coins tradeable which i dont think they want

another way to do this is to make more hnms that drop nice things. Like guinver in ku tunnel. If she would drop something beside just her skull then she would not be up haft the time. or make drop rate better on certain items like v claws

Yes, earning things is important.

No, Getting things handed to you on a silver platter is not acceptable.

Nice Medium? I would very much like to see that. Do I know how? Not really.

Does SE? Perhaps not either.

Unless this is directed at the OP, no ones saying things should be handed to people. A lot of this has to do with the high cost because of demand and the ridiculous surplus of gil floating around.

What i do not understand is how did this gil come into circulation? If everyone completes all rank 10 missions they get a total of like 300k right? then you can quest alot of gil but what i am missing is not everyone is rank ten and 90% of the people on this server havent done may quests including me. I jsut dont understand how people NPCed that much damn gil.

Actually, they get around 500k per nation, so 1.5 million for each of the nations. That's also not including the <10k amounts you get before getting rank 5.

Then you have quest rewards. Rolanberry quests(I used to do this a lot, 100k/hr wasn't too uncommon.) Prenerf Lu Shangs netted you some hefty gil per carp turn in. Mandragora-Mad, Bard Quest, gil drops(5-200 adds up when you have 3000 simultaneous online accounts,) treasure chests/coffers, the list is pretty endless.

Then, you have the sinks. Chocobos, ranging from whatever a level15 can get at a newbie town, I think 65 gil/ride, to over 3k regularly at teleport areas.

Dynamis, popping 1 mil/run. Unfortunantly, we aren't Dynamis heavy server, otherwise Dynamis would be an EXCELLENT gil dump.

Random NPC bought items. Ingredients, newbie equipment, etc.

This doesn't make up much, but when I go mess around or something I keep whatever drops and if it's something retarded like lizard tails, I juts NPC it if I have the space to keep it.

Biggy find me a claw for 3.5 or around that and i'd love joo forever  .N people in ls can pretty much synthesize it so that won't be a problem.

actually you all are missing the biggest money givers nm that give about 3-8k ie gods, hnms, even some regular nm beastman nms <mysticmaker Profblix's>[I bet von made a small fortune on the 1/31 misfortune he had] and other mobs, prime battle give you 10k 30k for wolffie. also bestman themself give about anywhere between 8 to 200gil apiece <depending on sub>

and then there thf. I love thf why they can steal and
mug ask any thf how much they can make off some mobs

I still think we need to have a sort of pawn shop for certain things.
Basically a shop that only buys certain things like seals and crystals, but the sell price is the same as the buy price. And make the price actually worth while.

What makes this interesting to me is that I feel it should only have as much in stock as people have sold to it, but all shops are connected.

The biggest problem is the amount of cock mongers who would abuse the system. That is, people who would treat a shop with crystals like a guild shop and just buy them out of stock and raise the prices.

The idea would still work with seals though, and I think it would be awsome.
Sell a seal for 1000g Buy a seal for 1000g
Make the shops be a person stationed at outposts and all are connected throughout the world. Then make 10 seals equal a piece of dynamis currency, and you will have removed a burden for people collecting their ultimate weapon scrilla and have given low level players a decent source of income.

If the sell price was the same as the buy price, people would use this vendor as storage. Since it basically costs nothing for you to have them 'hold' your stuff, why not? Granted there's the chance that they'll be sold out once you need to re-buy, but that's a minor price to pay.

If they were to do that, I would hope they make the price for you to sell your goods to the vendor be about half of the price that you would buy them back for, else there will be abuse of the system.

There's a reason, a big reason, that the relic weapons are such long-term investments. Once you reach lv75 with a job you really enjoy, you really have nothing else to work towards for that job. At this point in time, I'd like to direct your attention to exhibit A on your left: the relic weapons.

Plus low level players already have a good source of income right now, a wicked source of income - farming the materials that higher-lv players and crafters don't want to spend their time on.

Your LS doesnt give discounts on items that drop? 3.5mill was a steal (that was back when V claw was about 4.8mill)
