Cirein-croin is the zone quest boss for Abyssea - Misareaux, and no push-over, as made evident by the damage on the spells that aren't from the RDM chain-spelling Blizzard III.

Pretty crazy stuff.

mmmMMmMmm that damage is sexy. I would have liked to see how my BLM would have done with one of those.

The brick has been shat.
o.o

wow...... im have to get me a fell cleave party.

I have never seen anything do over 3000 damage that is awesome. It looks like Zacosham has been working out, he is getting all beefed up with the Slim In 6 workout. That Blizzard III is crucial.

I'd love to see the effects of this with BLM and spamming the new -ja spells. :D

Well the guys INT is either +999 or at 999 it's a bit of a difference honestly ;)

For overall damage, I would expect the Chainspell-RDM on Primeval Brew to outdo us. A BLM will be capable of landing bigger nukes, but our overall damage would be limited by cast/recast timers.

MNK/DRK Souleater Hundred Fists would probably be THE best way to use this as a melee job.

Best item in the game, hands down?

The nuke 3s are doing 3k+ dmg while the nuke IVs and AM2 are doing less than 1k dmg? lol...
the other nukes are from the other players who are not using primal awsomness

full buffed kclub drk with it for melees maybe? (not sure how kclub zerging stuff works post 75)

That's why I was thinking MNK/DRK. They hit harder than kraken club, generally almost as fast with hundred fists, and the only down side before was that they'd die without severe healer support. 300/tic regen should take care of a lot of that. I could see a DRK/DRG doing ridiculous things with it too though, probably would be even better since I've honestly never seen them side by side.

For a point of curiosity though, imagine pulling a massive group of EM-T abyssea mobs. Almost to the amount of a SMN burn. Have a WAR/SAM pop the brew and 2hr fell cleave style. Have a few SAM shikikoyo etc. I could see a single PT getting ridiculous exp and lights almost instantly from that, just for hahas.

Keep in mind that each individual hit is gonna draw from some 5% of the MNK/DRK's 9999 HP. Which means the first hit will rip about 500, more than the regen can possibly keep up with. The MNK/DRK won't do nearly as much damage without epic curebombs.

There's also of course the point that souleater is gimped when subbed.

And the point that the main purpose of the Souleater/BloodWeapon gimmick isn't the weapon's own damage. You'd be adding some 800+ per hit from Souleater damage on a DRK. Your weapon doing another 50-100 damage a hit pales in comparison.

Technically, assuming no damage modifiers on the target and no failures of Blood Weapon, a properly-geared DRK with 9999 HP would be putting out 1199 points of Souleater damage per hit. And these days, with all the stuff available to boost attack speed, hitting the haste cap can easily be done without bothering with /DRG.

Souleater's absorption is 12% of your current HP per hit?

Jeez.

10% base, 12% with one of the various "Enhances Souleater" items like the Gloom Breastplate.
