So after not having been to the board in almost a week or so i noticed, as i perused the new topics presented after clicking the link, i had to go like 4-5 pages before i found a flameboard link. Telling me, at least currently, the flameboard is not the backbone of QCDN.

Anyone flameboard worthy just gets banned now. The flameboard will eventually be relegated to friendly joke flames and RMT topics. The flameboard worked well in the past because there were people on both sides. Now QCDN is banhappy. Who is there to flame when everyone here is on the same side?

I'm confused. Are you disappointed people don't fight as much anymore? Or surprised that people use the rest of the board more than the flameboard? (Oh, what a horrible place this is where people discuss more than they fight.)

No, in all seriousness it makes me just tad warmer and fuzzier inside to see that at least in the recent short-term things are all well and good. Sunshine and rainbows, that sort of thing. It's far overdue for the rest of the board to be utilized in civility.

I'm sure that reads just as sarcastic but, no shit. I grinned when i not only didn't notice a FB post but actually had to almost go to the bottom of the new posts list to find one. Shows things are moving in the right direction, for the moment.

Nothing flame-worthy has really happened lately, for better or for worse. If you check the flameboard, most of the new topics (mine included) aren't really about anything serious. A camp was taken, a giant topic about a hypothetical about banging brad pitt, a topic about ratedowns on the board, 5-6 joke topics, gilsellers, yadayada. I'm sure once a few scandalous things happen in-game the board will pick up again.

Personally, I avoid the flameboard for health reasons. Last time I was there, it made it burn when I peed. For like a week. It was sad fucking times. Both literally and metaphorically. Yeah.
