Private Boards

Is it possible to make boards where only people from San d'Oria could talk by themselves, Windurst with themselves, and Bastok with themselves. I dont think it would serve too big of a purpose, but it would allow for nation cohesion. For instance Windy recently took Ronfaure in Conquest, on the boards, Sandy would be able to discuss when exactly the time would be right to stike back. Then Bastok can decided when they want to stop sitting around and do some E.F. to get first in conquest. Just a thought

I kinda like the idea, but what about people who have diff characters from each nation? >.>;

And there would be no way to know whos actually from what nation. If one nation wants to do conquer some region, someone from other nation may be spying and alert ppl >.>

well i mean it would lead to a lot of those type of problems, but really its just to have bords where people can talk about stuff that doesn't concern other nations/linkshells/groups however we divide it, the conquest was just an example.

I think you can create this yourself man. Just ask Sculli too make a section for you under the Linkshell Area part of QCDN like you are createing a linkshell which you're not. But you'll be doing this for only your nation. Then make an announcement in the Linkshell Recruiting board too people about what you are doing.

You get too be the moderator and you can do a /sea all ingame too make sure people that are applying are from the Nation you are moderateing. Might want too set a Rank limit so people can't have their mules join. Just a thought.

I know what you guys are asking for, I am just not sure there is an actual demand for it. If you look through the archive, you will be hard pressed to find any sort of posts with nation content either which way.

I may be wrong, but it doesn't seem like the advancement of their nation is any kind of priority to most players.

Unless it is an actual linkshell, I won't make a private board for it that is under the control of a self appointed mod. Reason being, I have no access to the linkshell forums (well, technically I could of course give myself access, but as of now only those in the linkshell usergroup can read what is being written there), they are private forums, and while I am the QCDN owner, I do guarantee the privacy of those forums unless there is some compelling technical reason that would force me to add myself to the list of allowed people.

I wouldn't do the same for nation discussion boards though. In a linkshell the LS leadership is the one with the ultimate authority over what happens in the LS. On a nation discussion forum it would have to be a QCDN mod, and ultimately I.

I am not opposed to set up separate dscussion boards if there is a demand for it though. Perhaps it would be worth to create a poll and see whether people would actually be interested in separate forums for each nation.

Well, I think there doesnt seem to be much nation content only because it usually ends up in a flame fest agaisnt enemy nations. I agree that a poll would be a good place to start to see if its even worth it to do this.
