ok, so usually when I get a PM it says "unread 1, total 1" so when I go to the box it changes to unread 0, total 0, and if there's one I deleted in the past it shows that one and when I try to delete it again it says it's invalid.

what's going on?

Not sure if I follow, you have deleted a PM in the past, yet it is still there, and you are unable to delete it now?

If that is the case, log out, clear your cookie (should be [email protected] or [email protected]), log back in. That should fix it.

Now if only you could make the private message text a little more visible... you know like twirly red flashing alarms so that when a user gets one, they don't overlook it and log off >.>

No one ever notices they have a PM until the next time they log in.

There's actually an option to get a pop-up comfirmation box that'll take you directly to your inbox if you enable it in your User CP. It's just a matter of if people turn it on or not, I believe the default is off though.
