We don't own the zone, you're right. What happened was the equivalent of a weekend Sky shell getting ready to pop Kirin only to have an asshole and a holding party run up and pop Kirin in a rush. They then proceed to kite the thing for 2 hours so no one else can pop Kirin.

Sure, no one owns the Kirin rights, and if you can manage to run around with him, more power to you, but its a fucking dick move to do to a group that is OBVIOUSLY waiting to try their hand at the fight.

Honestly, though, I can't fault them. We cleared out lolD's Rdm list tonight, we had enough Blu drop to gear an army of Immortals, we had a pair of Koga drop, and two 100coins dropped. I guess we should get used to this, eh? Not too bad at all, and to boot, it was some of the most fun I've had in Dynamis in a long while.

Don't think that squares anything, though, Shaj/Progeny: You're still a douche. What IS it with Bad Boy linkshells these days? Always gotta be someone with a tiny dick telling the world to suck root because they do whatever they want. To quote the South Park thing from another board, what a bunch of fucking fags.
 
Mob mentality makes right/wrong, just so you know. The only reason laws exist now is because a large group of people, at one point, decided how things should work. You're trying to saw that FFXI is a lawless society, which is largely untrue. The consequences for breaking the laws that are obeyed by this majority are social at worst; The equivalent of the Scarlet Letter, so to speak.

If you act like a biker, you get treated like a biker, and the people you associate with get treated like a biker. Unfortunately, there's not a lot people can do to stop those who decide to jack zones, and that encourages the cocks to be cocks. Remember when Abso would more-or-less raid the boards here with "WE DO WUT WE WANT" and "WE THE BEST ON THE SERVER LAWL?" All that got them was the resentment of everyone who propagated such retardation in our community.

This is largely the same; some wannabe badass is breaking all of the accepted rules despite the (mostly inconsequential) damage it does to the image of that person and those he runs with. Shaj is too cool for school and will remind you of that WITH CAPS LOCK BECAUSE THIS IS HOW THE REAL HARDCORE PLAYERS TALK.

There's nothing we can do except wait for the prick to calm down. That's far and away from what anyone WANTS to do to him, mind you, but them's the breaks. SE won't create rules for us, and the ones we have don't have any lasting consequence.

Uh, tl;dr: Right and wrong is a socially created concept, and when the majority of people say they are right, they /are/ right. I recommend you go read 1984 again.
 
LS leaders don't own the gear that they make the rules on. I don't have to follow any point system or waiting list. I can lot whatever I want when I want it.

You cant hold/call a zone just cuz ur ls is there staring @ the marking so stupid ppl get there panties in a twist go do another fucking zone or a CoP that drops that same gear... plue -1's ... ffs of course unless ur ls is gimp and can barley farm Xarc... which then u should break... quit QQing over something thats not important.. Get in the zone asap or u deserve for it to be sniped!

We had 43 people. They took Xarc with 13. Hey, if only there was a zone that dropped Xarc relic that was farmable by 13 people... I dunno, like an 18-person-max zone?

Do you fucking read your own posts? THEY should have been taking Tav, half-wit, they were the ones with low numbers. If you're badass enough to type in ALL CAPS WHEN DECLARING DOMINANCE, go prove that shit in Tav.

No one ever takes Tav, its smaller and not so bad if you can handle it. Its got the SAME EXTENSIONS that Xarc does, and in the first 20 minutes you should be up by at /least/ an hour.

Don't pick a half-thought-out fight, kiddo, especially when you propose something as retarded as our whole shell going to Dreamlands.

Double post!

If we all cough up about 13k, we can jack whatever zone we want. Could be a fun way to spend some money. I only run once a week, so I've got all these others day available to steal whatever I want.

"we go in whenever the fuck we want" You push past people waiting to enter a zone or did you think they were all afk or something..... I hope your little band got what they deserved in there in the short time they had that zone, ie no relic, few coins, and lots of death...

Your actions forced Limitless and loldynamis to move to another zone, fortunately the drops there were amazing 5 rdm, 4 blu, 2 ninja, two 100 coins and many more and also two shells found they worked together very sucessfully.

Just remember that Shaj and co working with others gets good results, looking out for number one gets you reduced enjoyment.

Most LSes abiding by the scheduling forum wouldn't go actively seeking another zone to take from a different LS that is also using the scheduling forum.

It's not so much that I wanted them to abide by the scheduling forum, but we had the majority of TWO Dynamis LSes out there by that time, ready to roll.

Progeny ran in with less than a full party, didn't even stop, and immediately traded glass. So it's not even that I wish they'd checked QCDN--I get it, people don't, we get jacked by JPs for the same reason. But even JPs won't usually jack a zone when there's 40 people standing at the trail markings. We were taking a bit longer than usual to enter because it was a joint run and we were passing out a new linkpearl.

And Shaj's comments in /say added insult to injury. I don't tend to post flames unless I feel they are completely EGREGIOUSLY bad, and Shaj being all "FUCK U WE R HNMLS LAWL" was the cherry on top of the shit sundae.

I must say, for being all "HNMLS!!!" Shaj's RDM gear is really weak. Lrn2Morrigansnub, A.body may have been good in 2006 but even I have a Morrigan body now. ;P

To you naysayers (Nogara, Lildrama) the issue at hand isn't that the scheduling forum wasnt used (although they dont have an excuse, they all speak english) its the fact that FORTY FUCKING PEOPLE were lined up at the markings ready to go, and this fucktard went in and sniped the zone anyways. Yeah, nobody owns the zones regardless, but its a little thing called *whisper* common courtesy that a lot of server transfers lack.
 
I agree, if you guys were already gathered there and just waiting for a couple more people then it was without a doubt a very low life thing to do. I'm on the side where there is no booking zones and they're free to enter so long as they're not occupied, but even being on that side I still see there being limits. I wouldn't jack a zone if I seen the majority of an LS already lined up for it.

I don't know what Shaj was talking about when he said he was a HNM LS, because he is definetly not a HNM LS, his LS certainly could not compete with the 'big boy' linkshells.. so his excuse for sniping was void, however if the zone was empty then it was up for grabs.
