Havent heard much of anyone talking about this game.
I got it because i heard it had a very very epic story.
i played it off and on for a few days and was wondering when the epic would hit, and tonight...it did. I LOVE THIS GAME.
at first it was VERY hectic and chaotic, hard to tell what the hell was going on and what i was supposed to be doing. felt like i was just flying around shooting randomly at crap. Thought i could never get used to what i felt at the time were crappy controls.
then i started getting used to the controls and felt like a bad ass pilot.
Diving in on enemy war ships to take a few shots before pulling out and narrowly missing impact only to flip around and take another swoop in.
and BARREL ROLLS!!
having your wingmen back you up and follow your every order.
some of the battles do get repeatetive for awhile, then you get some cool different ones thrown in.
it reminds me alot of the original star fox with better graphics and gameplay.

Then the story is just, like playing one great anime'
though the main three characters remind me exactly of Sora, Kairi and Riku from kingdom hearts.
and then a chick later appears that reminds me of namine'.
hell margrus looks EXACTLY like Rikku and has the same attitude Rikku has.
And Katana acts just like Sora especially in moments and scenes with margrus.

This game is certainly worth it in my view, it has a learning curve. it has a great story, and some fun gameplay.
I would say rent it first as its not for everyone and i think its a Sleeper hit.
Im not usually into these sorta games but this ones got me hooked.

Only played the demo and thought it sucked :/ to each his own I guess.. although I will concur the CS's looked promising.

played the Demo and found it fun but i could tell wth i was doing... went threw all the tutorials that helped a little but it was still tough


Ill rent it soon and see what i think of the story

Was kind of looking forward to this game back when it still looked "Starfox"ish but they went and ruined that build of the game. Hated the demo.

i also HATED the demo, i was like...wtf is this crap. but once you get into it and get used to it its not really what you remember it from the demo.
that demo just didnt do it justice.

Seconding that the demo doesn't do it any justice. The actual game is by far so much more fun. I rented it today out of boredum and after playing through the first mission, i'm almost ready to buy it.

i havent played much latley since my PC broke....then my tv died....then a bunch of other crap broke and ive been busy, i got up to the point where margrus and katana have their reunion confrontation on margrus' home planet, around that point is where the epic hit for me. i might play some tomorrow and take some time away from WoW, i really have to finish this story!
im glad you rented it and you can clearly see how bad that demo is for a demonstration. Doesnt do it justice at all.

I’ve got a copy of this as well, I’ve got to say I’m really impressed with, what I’ve played of it, haven’t had much time to play Console games lately. I think the best part about the game is that the controls are totally customizable. I haven’t really gotten a chance to see the actual story line yet.

Lol, i think the epic hit right after the first mission when brandon died. I like the whole Dynasty Warriors / starfox feel to it. (A shitton vs a few)

The controls are a little sketchy at first, but once you get in to it, it gets alot better.

Heh, I guess I'm the only one who was sold on the demo.

Bought it to entertain me during the first week of college classes, but didn't pay enough attention to it. The story is one of the things that drives to keep going after running into a warship half a dozen times.
