and if you need BC strategy heres a quick one.
Farm recollections off the wanderers and such on the first floor of each crag.
turn them into animas in the house behind maat in ru'lude gardens for 2k each.
bring a strong party to the promy, have 2hrs ready, use map from ffxi-atlas if you dont know where youre going.
bring poison pots for the melees for mea and holla crags.
mea BC: melees need poison pots because it reduces the aoe psn damage from promyvion brume to 1/sec from 10/sec and keeps your tank from dying instantly from poison after impalement. If youre not the tank, dont stand to the FRONT of the mob. Carousel is cone damage in front of it. Also uses murk slow/gravity aoe.
Do a bunch of damage.. win.
Holla BC: poison pots to keep melees awake, nin tanks and /nin on rng so that trinary tap only eats shadows, use fake buffs because if unbuffed it absorbs hp. can be killed by 4 person party if theyre talented... did it with smn/whm, war/nin, war/nin, rng/nin. Trinary tap eats all buffs, including food but not reraise.. that I know of. Ew that would suck.
Dem BC: spawns offspring starting at 70%, each can be soloed or kited by a good rng, but best kept near the progenetor and killed by a smn using astral flow 3x during the battle. keep the spawns off your whm, once the progenetor dies they die too, no very nasty mobskills but will absorb a ton of life off a pld tank if you use one so you have to outdamage that. At low life regens life quite quickly so need to have rng use EES, or otherwise cause a lot of damage when it gets low.
