Proposition: 41

wait...so you can only vote yes for serious issues? ok...next up is making shooting people in the head legal. this is a very serious topic so all please vote yes!

Proposition 41, approved by the voters at the March 5, 2002 election, allocates $200 million  to upgrade voting systems, and established a Voting Modernization Board to carry out this task.

Are you F***ing kidding you have nothing better to do with that money. Your schools are perfect (havent cut the arts department). Police are paid decent? No health care problems? What in the hell are you people thinking?

“When I was elected governor I said I would put California’s financial house in order and reform a government that no longer listened to the people,” said Governor Schwarzenegger. “Without reform, we are destined to relive the past all over again -- 22 billion dollar deficits, higher car taxes and the threat of bankruptcy. We cannot just stand around while our debt grows each year by billions of dollars.

And you wonder why your debt grows

Neosquall, that was the most undemocratic thing I've ever seen, and just made you a complete asshat. You ask for votes about an issue, but don't say anything about it. Someone asks what the vote is about, and you won't tell them, so they use their right to remain neutral simply until they have more facts, so you decide their vote for them to...surprise, surprise, your side of the disscussion. Nice work there. Oh, and for the record, Yay.

 I think that was the point!

Most of the people voting would be confronted with that same choice a line on a ballot that reads "Proposition 41" and the two choices Yes or No. Then they might see signs or commericals stating "Vote yes on proposition 41" and that is all the information they are given.
