The final straw, I called a G.M.

that probably shouldnt be said, but that has some truth to it.. you did drink while you were pregnant and go out partying... i mean i remember reading alot of that in linkshell chat and some of us being like wtf?!

It's an interesting problem. I mean we all know the "friends don't let friends drive drunk". What about "friends don't let friends fuck drunk"? Or drink while pregnant for that matter ...

However, how many of the "online friends" are really the kind of friends that would go as far as saying "WTF is wrong with you? Stop that shit or else!"? Part of the problem is that there really is no "or else", what's the worst thing that can happen?

Regardless, parents who knowlingly and willingly endanger their children are fucking sad examples of the human kind.

We asked the doctors before I even touched any alcohol. I was permitted one not too strong drink - I had one glass of red wine (which went to my head). Naomi, is a very healthy baby and always smiles^^ (cries in the night though >< as babies do, i guess). I may put a picture of her up here sometime...

They [women] may have been given incorrect information about alcohol and pregnancy from family, friends or health care providers.

... no amount of alcohol is considered safe for a pregnant woman.

Glad it all worked out for you, but your doc would have denied ever telling you it was ok to have a drink if stuff would have gone wrong. Just something to consider for next time around.

don't sugarcoat it. when i was in affinity, you came in the linkshell half drunk, and we even had a conversation about what "tipsy" meant.

You're in the right, I won't dispute that. I'm sorry if I am being sugarcoat. ; ;

Oh and about her doctor telling her she could...he might have said so, consdering that, the link you provided goes to a national website in america. British laws may be different (they usually are).

I don't see how its off topic, its right on topic with that last screen shot you posted before you called the GM. And I agree, that was one hell of a risk to take. I mean, is alcohol really that important that you just have to have that ONE galss of wine? :roll:

The half life of FB posts is like an hour or so. Proverb is pretty much forgotten at this point.
