For all you you warriors just starting the job or even the game I am going to give you one little helpful hint that will make people love you!
Abilities > Job Abilities > "Provoke"
or even just make a macro for it!!

You may be thinking "pro...v..oke?? whats this?" Well I am going to tell you its whats going to keep your whms from dying and your party from disbanding in 1/3 of a second. Dont be scared to use it! Yes the monster is going to focus on you and yes your going to take some damage but have some confidence in your parties whm she/he will heal you! And if you die go back to your homepoint! and run back and finish off the battle and just think of it this way you died saving your party. ** saying that dont be cocky about the fact you died to be heroic and all that cause iwill be floating around there to /slap you for it**
Now to my story about the warrior who was too god damn afraid to get hit.
Well last night I got brave and decided to take my Bard down to Valkurm to kick some lizard ass and get myself some of those fancy ass experience points. With in 2 minutes of being in the dunes I got a blind invite and I thought "Oh what the hell, I will give it a shot!" So I accepted the invite and hauled my ass to bastok side of valkurm to wait for everyone else.

Anyways we got started our drg said he would pull and I was down with that so I started to bust out the tunes on my cornette and we were off! About a minute into the fight I noticed our Drg was taking alot of dmg especially for not being the tank so I told the war to voke repeatedly, but still he did nothing except run around the mob like a retard hitting it. Our mages were all out of mp and whm used 2hour but luckly the drg and the mnk finished it off. after the battle I asked the warrior why he didnt use provoke he said that he would get killed and he didnt want to die. I assured him that me and the whm would keep him alove and that it was his job to keep the monsters attention so he said he would do it next battle.
Round 2.
Drg pulls another lizard avoids a link and gets the package delivered back to camp once again lizard is pounding the crap out of the drg. War doesnt provoke again and is once again unresponsive. This time a goblin decides he wants to come join the pt and offs me while i was getting some mp back and then kills our whm. Blm runs War runs drg runs Mnk dies to bomb toss. Whm leaves pt. mnk leaves pt. Daroth -> still dead , others zoned. once the remaining pt members gathered around the HP/signet man the war decides to call the whm and the mnk pussies because they left. Now I was just a tad bit angry because I was lvl 9 again and our noob war was calling the only people who knew what they were doing pussies. I asked the drg for leader and I kicked the war's ass out and ignored his BS whining cause I kicked him. sadly i was not able to find a whm so the PT ended then.
