A friend of mine just got started playing on the PS2 but shes unable to see other PCs. It seems she can do everything, its just like being in the world all by yourself. There arent any error messages or anything to indicate what could be wrong. I'm trying to find some info, but not having any luck, so I was hoping someone would know whats going on.

That happened to me on my computer once not long after I bought it. I just changed the video settings to a lower resolution and the PCs reappeared, but not sure if it will help your friend since she is on the PS2.

Sounds like your viewer program is corrupted and not properly loading the .DAT files. I know on the pc version you can run a file check in pol just before logging into it, but not sure if that is on the ps2 version. If not, a reinstall will be your best bet most likely. If the problem persists try borrowing a friends ps2 install discs and see if that solves the problem. If the problem is still there, then your hdd has some bad spots on it and you will have to send it in for maitence/replacement.

You can also do file checks on PS2 on the login screan for POL look on the colum with all the menues. One of them should be file check run it and see if that fixes the problem.
