Yo

Recently my Xbox 360 started acting up and now it's on the Injured list at the moment so I decided to get back on PS2 for the time being.

I borrow a friends copy of Aht Urghan with an unused reg code and install it on my PS2, you know the usual crap. I go to register it at expanded services but it won't let me so I'm thinking my old 360 Reg code is already in affect, at least that's what I'm thinking.

After installing it and all that nonsense I log on and get the usual Aht Urghan music and front menu screen, so I load up my character and pop on my Oldum ring to head to Whitegate, but all I get is a black screen. Nothings happening, I'm pissed, somewhere a clown is crying.

After convincing myself it's not ghosts I get my friend to log on me and to teleport-mea me (was on WHM) so I can log back in since I had to shut off the power to my PS2 and can't enter any Whitegate areas.

Now I'm wondering; did something just fuck up while I was installing it? Or did I have to use that Reg code somewhere? I no longer have the disc since I gave it back to my friend right afterwards (My own stupid mistake I guess), and since Square only made like 4 copies of this game for PS2 I'm kinda left in the dust until I can get in contact with my friend again.

Any ideas? Suggestions? Song requests?

I've never installed on PS2, but for PC you just need to install the expansions so that the data is there. SE knows that your account is registered to use the expansion already, so you don't need to re-register.

Everytime I install POL, only thing I have to worry about is logging in with my Content ID and Password.

I think you just had to install the expansion. When I installed my PC version after playing PS2 exclusively for about a year prior, I attempted to register my expanded services but it told me I had already registered.
