My friend recently started playing on PC, and bought the old vanadiele collection that had CoP with it. I have another friend who plays on both PC and PS2, so he has an extra set of Reg codes from his PS2 copy of treasures that i want to try and use on my friends PC copy. Anyone know if its possible? I dont particularly see why not, but figured i'd ask first.

Then what are you?

You can play on a pc ps2 or 360 with the same account but when you register the product you need to use the platform it the game was bought for. The frist version I had was for the ps then I got Keryan the PS2 version of the game and tried to use the pc to setup the account and register the game but it would not work. I ended up having to to do all the account management work on the ps2 but I can log in to any account we have on any box in the house does not mater if it was orginal for the pc ps2 or 360.

Hope that helps

No, i know i can login from any console. The question is that he owns the PC version of the game and CoP, I want to know if i can use the registration codes from a PS2 copy of Treasures.

short answer is NO you can not use the ps2 reg code on the pc version of the game. He needs to get a pc reg code he might be able to call SE and get one from then if he give them the ps2 code and just say he was a dumb ass and bought the wrong version and the store will not take it back.

You can use the registration codes, Goatsy! I gave my little brother my registration codes from my 360 and he used them with PC. Shit, and if it really came down to it he could start a new account on the computer and just transfer his account number IE: "SHIT6969" >.>;; over to the PS2, or vice versa. But you can interchange them. My friend has used PC codes on PS2, and 360 on PC. ^.^ All that really matters is if the codes have been used before. These are the things you learn when you buy the game three times x.x;; and had like 8 RL friends playing at one time.

I can confirm that you can use the registration codes from the PS2 to the PC, and vice versa. One thing to be aware of is that the codes for the latest expansion (maybe previous, I don't know for sure) are tied to your account. So you may not be able to access mog lockers or ToAU areas. If you like I can confirm this tonight when I get home.

Only reg codes that do not work are if your using the wrong region codes.

Say you bought FFXI in the U.S.A then went to france and bought ToAU and tried using both those codes on one account. The EU ToAU will not work as your POL & FFXI reg codes are NA. Expect that there be no resson the codes will not work.

If the guy is just starting, what's he really need ToAU for anyway :B even still, you can access them. I have ToAU on my PS2, desktop/laptop and have experienced no problems with my 360 registration code.

Yes it will work. I used PC registration codes on my PS2.
