PS2 to PC controller converter help

Ok I've got the PS2-PC controller converter, but how can I make this work ingame? The device works, checked it out. I'm using the windower, could this be causing the problem?

What OS are you using?
Oh, also, hate to ask the obvious, but did you you enable gamepad in config?

Try this from POL config:

You will have to go into the movement area to set up the analog sticks but that is the standard button configuration to make it work like it does on the PS-2.

Yeah, got it working now, 'cept for the D-Pad doesn't work, which annoys the crap out of me. I have to hold down another button and use the analog stick to go through menus.

Go through the config section for the Direction Control Devices.

For Movement go through config for the left stick

For Camera do the same thing only with the right stick

For Menus do the same thing again only with the d-pad

then you will be set. Also notice that button one is the button that opens active window/window options. If you need to double check go to the test area and push buttons untill the radial buttion next to "button one" lights up.

So basically step one is hold up position on the stick and press and release button 1. Then the text will change on screen and you will do one of the other directions, so on and so forth.

Don't now if you all care but FYI anyway.

Microsoft is making the XBOX360 controller for computers, so if any one ends up liking the feel of that its another option.

oooo welcome to PC world! I got a controller for mine too... soo much easier. I use the D-pad as my menu scroll button... ( . .); did you still need help configuring?
