PS2 vs XBOX

One word, HALO. Halo owns, I dont necessary say X-Box is better than PS-2, but if you've ever played Halo through a lan, without about 8 people, it owns. A lot of my friends i play Halo with, also play FF XI, (Jussy, MIkemann, and honcho) but it's hard when we get together and play FF XI, as about the only thing we can all do together is Eco-war, because of the lvl cap. Or lvl low lvl jobs.

Shame, shame. Mario Sunshine? Super Smash Brothers Melee? FFCC? Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes? Eternal Darkness? Mario Kart? Skies of Arcadia: Legends? Metroid Prime and Zelda are awesome, but there are other great games for the 'cube. :roll:

I have all three systems as well, and the 'cube is the one I play the most...

I have all three as well, lately though, my Xbox has been seeing the most use . . . To be fair, if you love your console games and a wide variety of genres, you need all three systems.

As for controllers, I'd have to say that I'm torn between the S-Type Xbox controller and the DualShock2 just because I find the GC controller a little bit small for MONSTER HANDS

Is the best....fun multiplayer, nice controller, it's looks funny but damn you can move fast with that thing. ^^

Lol I'll break it down too:

Ps2 - weak hardware, long loading time, weak contorller, but best 3rd party game support. Games to get : KH, FF, countless other RPGS, GTA : San An

xbox- best hardware, short loading times, decent contorller, Few games that actually make it worth it. Games to get: Halo, Metal Slug 3, GTA Double pack.

Gamecube: small, light, compact, decent hardware, best contorller, decent loading times. Gamecube gets those "nintendo only games" that always turn out to be really good, even if they look like crap. Games to get: Animal Crossing, SSBM, Zelda, Mario (kart, golf, tennis, sunshine) and more =P and if you can set it up, FF: CC was dope as all get out

Hmmmm I never said Gamecube was bad, I left it out because Sculli only asked for advice on PS2 and Xbox. Gamecube is a versatile lil' bugger which is a GREAT system as well.

Again, Gamecube isn't bad. When I said it collects dust for me is because i rarely use it. Why do I rarely use it? Because I don't have too many games for it. Why don't I have more games for Gamecube? Because I don't have that much money to have games for PC, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, as well as Xbox Live, Playonline monthly fee, and other things I spend my money on.....
Unless I pirated games like some of my friends do :twisted: then I have to spend my money wisely.

Zelda and Metroid prime are GREAT games, especialy when I need to blow off steam from FFXI. They are fun and easy to get into right from the get-go. I am sure that all those other games that you mentioned are just as good (mario sunshine in particular...I rented that one, all I can say is more water please! drool @ crystal clear graphics and gameplay!)

Again, Sculli only asked for PS2 and Xbox, so I delved into those two categories. I rarely touch my PS2 now. Actually now that I think about it, the PS2 and Gamecube both collect dust. All I use PS2 for now is to play DVD's and MGS2 + ZOE. That is about it. Xbox Live, oh damn do I love Xbox live. That is a gift from God. It is so fun to talk to a bunch of random people from around the country, I am usually ALWAYS on Xbox live. Actually, (lol I cannot believe I am revealing this) I usually put on a family guy dvd on my ps2, talk on xbox live, and play ffxi on computer at the same time......unless I'm at a friend's house...I don't know why I'm the only one who plays FFXI in my school :evil:
