PS3 Exclusives?

What is so hard about copying to a flash drive? If you had to get mods via the PSN store then Sony would have to approve them.

As for if mods are the only thing...

There's always keyboard/mouse support, installing the game on the hard-drive to make load times extremely short, the massive map collection that Epic stated won't all fit onto DVD and the fact that the port was done incredibly well - with everything looking fantastic and running buttery smooth. If it will run as well(or better?) on the 360, I don't know, but Technically speaking the only game you could compare it to on the 360 is Gears, and it doesn't have Gears frame rate dips, while it has way way way more on screen and things happening much faster.

As opposed to a simple installer that picks your PS3 up on your network? Needing to copy to a flash drive, then copy to your PS3 is a needless task.

Not on a network you say? Well, why the flying fuck are you playing Unreal Tournament.

This is just bitching for the sake of bitching at this point. And for the record half the people who bought all the earlier versions of Unreal tournament, never even went online with them, which is why they setup the whole campaign with UT3.

Fire dont use that one anymore. Dont wanna see you poke your eye out. Devs for Devil May Cry4 have already stated the PS3s version of the game MUST be installed into the hard drive just to keep load times equal to the 360. Seriously go check it out. I believe it had something to do with the PS3s drive being slow and cant read the disks as fast as they want it to. Now this may not be the case with UT3 but i would lean towards it. Nothing wrong with it tho, just letting ya know thats the case.

I've never been any good with keyboard in mouse. Even for games I have on my computer i've been better better with a controller. Its just what i'm most used to. All the maps could easily be placed on the marketplace if they needed to be.

All this is still not paying attention to the fact that UT3 won't be more than a rent for me on any system.

Unreal Tournament /= Devil May Cry... but then again, Devil May Cry is supposed to load faster on PS3 than 360 with the installation. Just how much faster is subject to debate, but at 10 seconds or so, the 360 version isn't exactly hurting.

To Makelith, as for UT3, your call, but lemme just throw out the possibility that it's underhyped because it's at the moment only on PS3. Just play Uncharted and if you don't think it's absolutely amazing then forget my opinion.

Oh i love Uncharted. One of my favorite games and i've only played about 45mins of it. Are you saying that if i liked Uncharted i'll love UT3? I'm sorta confused by the last part of your comment.

I don't really think about the Hype of games when i buy them. Case and point Project Sylpheed. I never would have ever played it, because the hype was nonexistant, but its one of my favorite games.

In terms of gameplay, they're very different, liking one doesn't guarantee the other.

I'm just trying to say when the PS3 community likes a game it's usually pretty good. I can say that Unreal Tournament 3 is of the same high quality as COD4, Uncharted, Ratchet and Warhawk. I can't guarantee you'll like the gameplay until you play it, since you can't really compare it to anything, only that within the context of what it is, it's extremely good.
