BluRay vs. HDDVD...reminds me of VHS vs. BetaMax...you would think Sony would have learned their lesson 30 years ago.
Mandarb is full of win.
Beta has better quality than VHS, and it's still being used by professionals believe it or not. And Sony has VHS too. But yeah it never blew up like Sony wanted.
As for this this video. It makes my eyes bleed. Same with the other videos he made. But i think it's an interesting part of our culture. It shows us how we take the destruction of a entertainment machine so tradgic. For the PS4 generation, i wonder if the person standing next to those guys will get excited.

that video for the Wii was slightly more amusing cause of the sound effects and the system exploded more. Other than that.. still a waste of good machinery :\

Nah, the Nintendo line laughed and cheered during the destruction, the PS3 line barely made a sound.

so you don't agree fanboism in general is retarded? :\ I find it to be. So many seem to think I've been a sony fanboy but I'm not. I had prefered there systems for awhile. Right now Wii's style of play interests me but doesn't have many games that interests me. PS3's got power and potential but lacking games that interest. XBox 360 has some games that interest me but nothing yet to get me committed. I only try and point out the good of a product when people are so set on only focusing on the bad.. bitching over and over about the bad and denying any belief that ANY good could come from it. If I really was a Sony fanboy like people said I'd have gone and been an idiot in that "Wii can't read my disc" thread laughing and whatnot. Making fun of Nintendo, but I didn't. So stupid how things are these days with the fanboism ;\

I said before even that I agree with skaw when I found their launch titles lacking. Though I find all the systems lacking in launch titles. Red Steel seemed right off the bat to be nothing more than a rental and that's it. The story seemed lacking, the multiplayer seemed lacking (from what I could gather at the time and now I know after trying it at friend's) and lots of other things seemed lacking. Other Wii games didn't interest me.. at most Zelda cause I wanna see what is different completely and I hear it has over 100 hours of gameplay ifyou do EVERYTHING. Xbox 360 release titles didn't interest me much either. But those were my OPINIONS. Nothing more. It is strictly opinion whether someone feels a system's launch titles are worth it.. seriously.. how is it NOT opinion?
I have been saying only the good because plenty of you have only been spewing the bad. You just keep saying bad after bad after bad. In fact, you, I think, have been the only one I've seen that's bashed sony countless times that I've seen post maybe once or twice about sony having any strengths. Most of the others that seem to be either nintendo or microsoft fanboys have just been bashing sony. It's just.. stupid. Every system has strengths and weaknesses and I really don't get why most that say they'll not get a PS3 or have no care about it even bitch about it in the first place.. it makes no sense to me.

At most a joke. Does he recognize the bad? yes. Does he recognize the good? yes.. fine and dandy. Might discuss the bad at times saying how it's a shame and be nice if they could/would (if they aren't) do something about it. But not once have I ever seen him in the act of "lolsony, look at them fuck up again!" and just bashing around all over. I haven't gone bashing any systems now have I? I don't bash nintendo, I personally don't find most of their first person games amusing but I don't consider that bad at all, just something that doesn't appeal to me. I might have not enjoyed the XBox at release because of the huge controllers and the lack of games I didn't particularly enjoy but when time passed and they released new controllers, I was happy to sit around with friends in the lounge playing Halo or some game that someone brought in. Tons of fun. Do I recognize PS2 has disc read errors many times? Yes. Does it frustrate me if it happens to me? Yes. Do I just bitch saying sony sucks? No.. Why? cause I realize it's my fault cause of how much moving around my PS2 has been through or how much dust my room has. So I clean it out, and guess what? It tends to work again. Only twice has it not worked again. Sent it in to sony (after the warranty was supposedly over too) and they fixed it for free. The second time I just decided to take the advantage of getting a new PS2 for cheap from dad's friend who owns a store and owed me money anyways since I worked for him a bit selling things and didn't recieve pay.
So, why must so many around here go immaturely bashing sony completely ignoring the strengths and advantages it does have? People complain about launch titles.. they did that with the PS2 as well.. and the PS1 (iirc) and look what happened? Had the most games of any system and many graet hits that sold well and were popular. Does no one have patience? And there are others I've seen bash microsoft stupidly.. not paying attention that microsoft has been improving with their stuff over time as well and they are newer to the gaming industry than most. Hell.. sony is still an adolescent in the game market compared to Nintendo. I just don't understand why people have to go around bashing something quickly. As far as I can tell so far.. the PS3 hasn't had any release problems like the XBox 360 did or the PS2 supposedly did (I say supposedly because I never saw anything personally of that). Sure they had that minor software problem where some old games weren't working. Patch made, sent, fixed, good. Nothing serious I can tell so far. Why still the bitching? So few released? well many of you said you had no care to get a PS3 for awhile, if at all, anyways.. why still the bitching? The cost? you're telling me you can't save up some money over time to get it? It's not that hard if you work as most around here do. You just have to be patient? What? gotta have it now?
