Lols at comparing Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 to a Tarus and a Ferrari. Wow. GTFO of here with that crap nonsense.
And over such a silly thing. If you really wanted to compare it to stuff, I guess Intel and AMD would be a slightly better comparison. Both do exactly the same thing, with such little identifiable difference in preformance, yet look completely different and one costs less than the other. (Though when talking about the consoles, price is similar with the exclusion of the new PS3 Slim. Also, sure there's little minor differences.) The only difference in the consoles is preference and perhaps game selection.
I dunno about you, but I bought my PS3 to play games on, not to see how many trophies I could collect so I could be the OMGTROPHYWINNARWHORE! Trophies are PS3's version of a gamer score, because.. well, you do get a rank based on how many trophies you've unlocked plus there's a running tally of how many you've unlocked so it could be used as a type of score. I don't really care about that though, for me trophies are just nice little extras. I don't go out of my way to get trophies in the games I play unless the way you get them is presented in a fun manner. Most of the time this is not the case, since you usually have to actually try to get a lot of the trophies and that's just too much work for a game I play to enjoy.
