trying to install my copy of wotg on my ps3-when I boot up the disc from startup I get a HDD not found error-when I try to do it from the POL startup it errors and resets my system-ive been playing FFXI for awhile now on my ps3-wth is going on? any ideas?

Your best is going to be calling SE support, seeing if they haven't done something with the new expansion to prevent PS3 usage, although that's a brazen and unmarketable approach if they did. Might also be a defective disk, I think I would call or contact tech support via PoL or PoL.com. Sorry that happens man ><;

The way SE, POL, and Sony works, youll get something like this

POL: Call SE

SE: Call POL

POL: Call Sony

Sony: Call SE and/or POL

POL: We will look into this further

SE: We will investigate further.

This happened to me too. I just put my PS2 disc away and started playing in my 360... Maybe it will get fixed soon? =P

yeah I messed with it more last night-I cant play wotg yet-imma just move over to xb360methinks

Duno how it works for you, but i already had the original version installed, so i just loaded that and selected the "install software" option, and it loaded everything up off the disc

:)

Go to the main page on your ps3 and download any updates that you need. May take a few minutes but it lets you install the expansion after you are finished.
