Psp help

A few days ago I was playing Disgaea for Psp and I put it into sleep mode. I turned it back on like an hour later only for it to completely power down a good 5 seconds afterward. Then it won't turn back on for a good 10-50 mins where it will repeat the same issue if I put it back into sleep mode. It does this with all my games and I have no idea how to fix it.

Anyone got any ideas? I really don't want to buy a new Psp if this can be fixed.

I bought a new battery, charged it and the old one, and now it won't even turn on <_<;

Sounds like you're fucked. X.x It DID happen to me once, but I charged it and has never happened again.
