How do I update my PSP other than playing new games? I'm trying to update mine from 3.60 to 3.90 so I can play the demo of Bleach: Heat The Soul 5.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Turn on the wireless connection on your PSP (I am assuming you have wireless internet or at least know of someplace with unprotected wireless access), select Update Firmware or whatever, it will dl'd it to your memory stick, update from the file. I hear you can d/l'd it from sony's website onto your memory stick as well.

you can download the update from the sight, hook PSP to computer, and install via that way.

I recommend custom firmware and just use those from now on :P newer ones tend to play newer games and still all old ones and NES->PSX era games :D

soooooooo, where can I find this custom firmware, how do I install it, etc?

Spoiler incase it pisses someone off...

Spoiler:
Dark_AleX 3.02 OE-B Firmware I think is the latest one out. You'll have to actually first downgrade your PSP to.. what was it.. the official Firmware 1.50 (there are guides, if PSPIso was working atm there's some there)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD_ovE30yKQ here's what that firmware makes you capable of :P

oh, here's a tutorial supposedly (haven't watched it yet) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMoFgJgcu7o
