which one should i get? i've used the older model before and didnt mind it so much, i've heard the slim one is sleeker but the umd door is flimzy or some such shit

anyone have some advice for meh?

The also moved the speakers in the newer one, and slimed it down so you don't have the huge battery packs sticking out the back. Plus there are the bundles you can get that comes with like Daxter for the game, and a family guy season.

Only like $30 more expensive and they don't make bundles for the older version.

Definetly newer. I'm actually thinking of selling off my older to buy a newer. Want the TV out and faster loading.

tv out? u mean i can cable it so that i can play psp on tv?

and with ps3 remote play do i have to have a wireless connection to the internet to do that or can i remote link right to the ps3?

I've been toying with upgrading to a Slim model, now that I'm getting more and more use out of my PSP. Being able to output to the television like the Game Boy is a big plus. Faster loading could certainly help with "Monster Hunter Freedom 2."

i played lumines way back when it first came out and i was hooked on it, i plan on getting that game first alone with a whole x-mas list of other games

whole package should cost me about $440 =P

The PSP game I've played most is Star Wars battlefield, for some reason I traded in my PS2 version when I upgraded to PS3. Warhawk is better but I just love playing Star Wars games.

I own a Slim & Lite model, that my wife bought me. I've messed with the original PSP. I actually like the newer model. The buttons are a little more pronounced and the screen seems to be a bit more vibrant in the color/contrast. The viewing angle seems improved too. Overall I'm impressed by the improvement. Although I only have 2 games Jeanne D'Arc (US) & Castlevania X: Dracula Chronicle (JPN).
