Persona 3 is being ported to PSP, this time including a choice choosing between a female or male protagonist, altered dialogue and scenes for the female, and even slight changes in the story dialogue if the male is chosen.

So wonder if it'll have option for choosing m-m or f-f relationships as well, plus hopefully more S-Links, among other things.

5 difficulty levels, starting Persona Orpheus if female MC will also be female, and Elizabeth in the Velvet Room will be replaced by a male equivalent have all been confirmed thus far.

From what I hear it will not include the extras from FES, just "The Journey", no "The Answer", but has things P4 improved on in the series, including the ability to control your characters.

Personally I think it's too soon for a new version of P3, even if the portable one does sound fairly awesome, and it's due out in Japan in November, so they've been working on it for a bit.
I had hoped that Atlus would instead move to a remake/port of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment and Innocent Sin, especially since North America never got Innocent Sin, and they are releasing Persona 1 for the PSP next month, so 2 would have been a logical step, but alas.

Anyone else a Persona fan and possibly picking this up?
I know I probably will, seeing as I'm a sucker for all things SMT.

yeah, it's kinda weird that they went from persona 1 to Persona 3 for the PSP, why did Persona 2 get left behind. While I love Persona 3, I think FES is the definite version to have. I'm interested in seeing the female MC, and the He-lizabeth looks weird.

If people are really into Persona, I could see it doing well, but I think I got enough out of FES to be happy with the entry, another one so soon doesn't get my interest, I can't go through the game again unless the story is radically altered for the female MC, which I doubt.

I not going to double dip this one.

Persona on the go is a big plus. I'll buy it and maybe even finish it unlike that Ps2 Persona 3 D:

I think its strange they inverted all the char's races... heh

I never played Persona (any of em) so I guess I should pick this up on my PSP eh? :)

Yes, if only to lessen the fail of never playing them.

I've been very turned off of JRPGs for the last year or two, dunno why.

Bumping this cuz the US release date was announced~ July 6.
