Jag, was it back home? If so, what is the cops name? I might be able to get you off lol And I got a ticket back in November for doing 84 in a 45, so it's about the same thing. I've gone to court once for it, but they had to push it back because the ticketing officer got injured. Now my date isn't until September. It will almost be a year before they settle my ticket lol

Ya I was going down county route 1 into pine island. It's that part of road past the blinking yellow light in the dip, the straight part with the dotted yellow lane.

I use to live in the town of warwick in cascade creek(now I'm still in warwick but in pine island), I was the neighber of the police chief of warwick. So I'm going to see what we can do and try and get it reduced or something.


As for drinkingultra , I was earlier in the night at a friend's house with a bunch of people, nothing serious, just a few. But I waited for it all to burn off before getting into my car.
 
Yeah, just ask Tommy. He should be able to fix things for you. If not, get me the cops name and I can talk to him lol I know them all :D And CR1 is a bitch. Cops are always there. Where was he sitting? Waterbury? Or was he in Foley Road at the top of the hill?

Tom said he may be able to get it reduced a little, so I'll take what I can get.
 
lol Yeah, go for the reduction. They will probably just give you a seatbelt charge or something like that. Definitely worth it since it won't put points on your license.

Got it reduced to a 75

Friends with chief + defenseive driving course = reduction

So I'm getting I think 5-2 points, so 3.

And the officer dropped the impurdent driving ticket, which would've been 5 more points.

Interstate 81 between Watertown and Alexandria Bay gets me everytime. I get edgy whenever I get within 40mins from the border. But I guess that may be too far north for you guys... :(

Your still lucky, in North Carolina, even with the reduction to 75, you would still have gotten your license revoked. Anything 15 over is reckless driving.

Ive never been able to figure out, why do you Americans go to court just for a speeding ticket?
 
Yeah, here you pay the fine, take the points and be on with your merry way. You rarely get stopped by the police either, the first you know about being clocked is when the letter comes in the post telling you :)
