LIVE FROM FAN FESTIVAL!!!!!

Puppet Master is new job! Also new spells for BLM and RDM. Attritbutes for all jobs will be new also. WAR will be able to throw axes. And lots of other stuff. Chococbo Breeding and The Colisseum are new things to see in the future.

I was just gonna post this but.. ya beat me ;)

Despite the disdain for the job on Alla already, I personally think all three jobs look hella interesting. It's gonna be a total tossup to me for which job I will unlock first.
 
They havent updated on the FFXI yet. I'm anxious to see if there is room for one more job or not. Any idea what new spells there are? :3
 
Solo type job?
 
Number one: I called at least another new job announced today. Although they didn't update the ToAU page. Probably won't for another day or two to get people who were there the "First look".

Edit: I'm glad this is something that nobody was guessing. Kind of tired of seeing all the "ZOMG TIME MAGE/NECROMANCER/GEOMANCER/CHEMIST" predictions. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen Puppet Master in a Final Fantasy game before, which is awesome if they haven't been (at least player wise. FFIV and I belive others had puppet master monsters), because it's something new.

Will probably play like a past FF job, just like Corsair was made to play like Gambler's from the past

The problem is, "Puppet Master" monsters from FFVI (and the other FF games) simply used "Call Monster"..or as already known, Call Beast. It'd be utter stupid if they just made a BST clone.
 
Since the Galka was doing emotes in the video, and people were already calling it puppeteer, chances are the puppet was following the emotes. So what we've discussed in TheNameless, is that the puppet will probably use the Job Abilities the Master uses. This is the new tank, atleast, the puppet is.
 
i think this job will be more like a DRG then a BST or a SMN. i think the puppeter will have a much more perminant pet, not just an avatar that you call for a few moments.

So in essence, technically, the puppet could be mimicking it's Puppet Master?

Well we have one more day of Fan Festival tomorrow's SE panel discussion will be about inflation prices so I am interested to see what they say about price inflation. Either way its been fun here at the Fan Festival alot of interesting people from all over as far as England and Japan. Lots of cool costumes here as well like this girl dressed as a Dragoon and her costume kicks ass. Plus the guy who did the "Recollection" video with the techno music won the best movie prizes. He won 1st
