Puppet Mastery

Hmmm. Didn't think about the Ferry. Pretty sure I killed something on that once and didn't get any points. Do I have to do a quest first to start that?

I am pretty sure you have to have their form of the signet over there to get points, much in the same way you would get conquest points in the older areas. That of course means you have to join the mercs if you haven't already.

Thinking for a moment, the things on the ferry may be TWTBWW which means no points. ; ;

You can get a signet? lol Maybe I should start the missions. I here the assault pass is gotten after doing the first Merc mission. Maybe then my points will start to rack up when killing things.

You also get standing points for killing mobs in Assault missions (although completing the Assault mission only gives you Assault points)

Hmmm. Makes more sense now. I did a little browsing through forums to see how things work.

It's only head and body that need this change, apparently. So you would need 6x3 = 18 total, not 300. And for the early levels, you'll probably be fine with 1.

Um...each silver piece is 100 imperial standing points. So you need 300 ISP to get 3 silver which each set needs

Lan, you can get Sanction with me.

Lets go kill some DC/EMs with Sanction on on my drk/nin and your brd. We can rack up on ISP!

Holy hell

Check out the stats of a lvl 75 puppet. It was gotten from a glitch. Str of a elvaan drk/thf >_>

I heard the reason the attachments were stackable is that if your puppet overloads, you lose the ones on him.

Are there any areas where a lower level player can get those points for the PUP upgrade?

You'll have to resort to buying the silver coins, unless there are quests that give them.

I can buy them? That's ok then. They under misc, other or something?

I dont know if they are on AH or not. Might be tradable only. Havent checked.

As I stated earlier, only reason I see for more then one of each attachment is if you can equip multiple copies of the same one, and if that in turn increases their effectiveness, otherwise its a waste of gil to buy more then 1, and buying a stack of each is throwing gil away, lol.

I also have overloaded several times ( comes from using the same maneuver 3 times in a row, making the icon appear 3 times), and I still have all my attachments.

I will test this out when I get more gil, maybe get like 1 or 2 more of one attachment.

But you can definately get them off other players?

Bad news, the damn puppet quest requires one rl day to expire. Worse. It seems we can only choose one puppet upgrade every few levels, going to test this out.

Well i'm going for the mage puppet and i'll be /mnk then /war I might try soloing pup :) I could only afford 10 of the attachments so im off to try them out first :)

Do all 4 wildcat quests. Bring a GOOD friend who has done so too. Turn it in, and ask your friend for the reward. 2 Mythril coins = 4 silver. As for the rest needed for other pups, will have to either buy when more peeps get coins or when you do standing point stuff more often.

<3 to Culebra for showering me with his love by giving me his mythril coin without think about it. Friends like him don't come often.

Well i'll probably end up buying the silvercoins off people, depending on how much they sell for, I can see them being ridiculously expenisve though.
