Granted, I'm no supreme board admin, but how time consuming would it have been to delete all those idiotic posts?
It also helps none that people keep replying under them.

Well, unless someone directly flames me, I'm out of the Flameboard I think for good. Obviously Pup could'nt give 2 shits about maintaining anything that even resembles intelligence over there, and soon the board will decline to simple grunting with the occassional "fag" tossed in for good measure.

Yeah, I know, big deal. Ooooooooo you're leaving the Flameboard blah blah, whatever. If only 5 or 6 other people follow the example it at least means something. I havent given up hope that there are still some of us who hold the art of intelligent conversation in some sort of high regard.

I'd rather keep all my conversing with fellow Quetzy's in a place that has a mod who actually does something when an idiot hops in and pisses all over everything because he wants someone to look at him.

I dont really know if this style forum supports it, but maybe they could add a rating system that drops out retarded posts, (similar to allakhazams forums) or maybe a card system to report a post to an admin.

Also, there should be another admin for the flameboard, even though its supposed to be anarchy personified.

Look at how much irritation and distruption a mere 2 people can cause. Imagine how useless the forum would be with 20 of them...

There are personal attacks allowed outside of the Flameboard. There is rampant adult language used outside of the flameboard. There is a great increase of disrespect in the threads outside of the Flameboard. Honestly I think the mods should do a better job of the sections they control before they all and all call Pupusa out.

If you want to debate a subject please post outside of the Flameboard, if you want to make personal attacks, cuss up a storm, and defame others take it to the Flamboard. That is my opinion. The flameboard isn't the only section of this forum that is bringing it down.

Have you read the Flameboard recently? Any "legitimate" flames like you just described are being shoved out of the way by idiotic posts by Careface and Cdorka, and maybe a few others. To put it simply, the Flameboard is no longer the place to put flames like that, and they wind up spilling out into other forums.

Why do "flameboard" posts show up in other forums? Because there is no flameboard anymore. There's only a "stupid retards" forum with the name Flameboard.

Really, Pupusa needs to either get on and ban a few people and delete some posts, or make someone else a Flameboard mod so that there's someone else that can do that.

A valid opinion, however when someone admins a board of this size, at least a little time once or twice a week is not much to ask for.
If he is unwilling to do so for whatever reason, thats fine. No one is blaming him for having a life, quite contrary, I wish him luck and good fortune, but that doesnt solve the issues this board is having lately. There are solutions, yet none of them have been implemented or even adressed by Pup.
Maybe it is time for a changing of the guard, or at least making sure everything here can be taken care of while he is gone,
I know of a capable person with a good rep on server who has offered to purchase/admin QCDN and so far his offer has gone unanswered.

We are glad QCDN exists, otherwise we wouldnt care that its going to shit. QCDN will continue to exist as well, with or without Pup.

I like how pupusa is allowed to leave stuff alone because he's buisy but we get called out because we can't check every single post every 5 minutes to make sure that the thread is free of foul language and staying on topic. Instead of blamming mods that are usually bogged down with life, time spent in game, work, friends, and yes - this board, why don't board members take a more active role in cleaning crap up. As I've mentioned before if you see threads/avatars/sigs/language that have gotten out of hand why don't you hit that little PM link in the upper right of your screen and report it? I guarantee that action will be taken the next time the mod logs on.

Just because we're mods doesn't mean we can dedicate all our time to keeping this board clean and a little more participation from it's members rather than waiting on us to MAYBE catch the thread that's probably going to be pushed down in like 10 min that's gotten out of control, why don't you do something about it? If you see someone being a troll DON'T RESPOND! Don't quote his stupid picture and absolutely pointless post for the next 14 pages of you people bickering back and forth. If you see some topic that doesn't belong in that thread PM the Mod and we'll move it, if you see language getting out of control, PM the mod and we'll lock it or delete the offending post.

You may not be able to outright delete the post but that doesn't mean you can clense yourself of the responsibility for keeping the board clean and enjoyable, this board is made up of it's members and you're it's members.

While people are busy blaming others, they should do 2 things.

1. Look at themselfs and see how they effect the over all eviroment of the board.
2. Look at the trolls that post none-stop crap and realize that all they want, yes all, is attention and a cheap laugh.

Blaming the Mods, yes Mods not Admins, is not the answer. IE; "OMG HE SAID FUCK!!!! WTF??? BAN HIM!!!! OMGGOMGOOMGOMG!!!" That will not solve anything. People dont read every thread. People have lives, kids, work, and other activities they have to tend to every day. Some people can sit on this board and type drivel all day, while others try to live on Perogies and Toast and acctualy have to work for a living.

New site looking a little more tempting now, eh Sabs? Haha. Pup, if you read this, please, pass the torch on, if not to me, then to others like me. I have a job in a library and I do practically nothing there. I spend 6 hours a day practically surfing the net. Easily spend 2-3 hours reading posts on this site. If I was admin of this, or another site, I'm sure a lot of the spam/trolls/idiots would be taken care of daily. Vote Taurothar for president, and all of your wildest dreams will come true.

I agree with idea of the boards members taking a more active role and ignoring the idiocy. Its why I choose to no longer go near the Flameboard in the state it is in. I offered to help, I was flamed for it, and in the end ultimately ignored. So, I will do the only thing I can do and stay away.

However, as great of an idea as board member reponsibilty sounds, no dumb ass troll post will ever go ignored. Someone will always post in response no matter what you do, unless:

1) You ban the troll
2) Delete the post
