purchasing linkshells

[Tyrion]

Okay, I saved up 8k because a bunch on my RL friends bought the game and got on Quetz on a World Pass I bought. So I wanted to buy a linkshell.

Got to the lady in South San d'Oria, waited for her shop to open, and now the game gives me a BZZZT when I try to buy one! Do I need to have a certain fame/rank/character level?

Also, am I the only one who hears several odd BZZZTs occasionally while shopping at the AH? Ill just be browsing the list and I hear BZT BZT BZZZT.

I hear the odd audio glitch from time to time, but I wasn't denied my LS when Sabs and I went to buy one, and we weren't even lv.10

Mind you we bought ours in Windy but I don't see how it would be any different

[Tyrion]

Im thinking the shop might be out of them, so Im going to wait a Vana'Diel day or two and go on around 2PM and try again.

[Villarel]

Did you first talk to the NPCs who explain how LS works?

I'm not sure though, maybe it'll help.

[Dirgesong]

could be . . . the biggest problem we had when we were buying ours was the shop holiday and the hours of operation . . . darn lazy mithra won't even work a standard work day

[ArmachiA]

I got mine as a level 8 RDM, rank 1... so no requirements that I know of o.o

The shop was closed when I went to get mine too. Me, Shumai, Astiroth, and Boyhanno waited forever for that sucker to open. Luckily they were there to keep me entertained. ^^

ah I remember hanging out in port windy /angrying the mithra LS Salesfolk good times
