Push for simpler spelling

English, complex? Considering that language is the "most" popular? Try learning Arabic, Chinese and Japanese (and Korean too). Of course, hard for many English/American people, but turn it the other way around many many Asians can exceed many English/Americans at their own language. Now how funny is that? Considering how most people can pick it up and we're now saying it's hard?

all those stupid rules, if you spell how you say it and on a PC mircosfot word it will auto change it. Well does for me.

Here's the fucking problem. Spellcheckers. My theory for the last 6 years was right all along.

Not blaming Kire, of course, but I've seen this statement a lot of times elsewhere when helping schools out and working with children.

I noticed the same thing, the rise of spellcheck coincided quite directly with the decline of individuals' spelling.

Those languages are more complex than English. Require a different way to be taught. I'm sure if anyone can learn those languages, English would be the easiest thing in the world.

Dumbing down a language for the sake of children is wrong. I mean, they're not even people!

There is no way in hell that would pass. I'd shoot myself in the head. As is, I can't stand most of the slag terms and spellings people already use. I refuse to talk to my cousin on the net because she spells "you" as "yew". I hate it with a burning passion.
