QCDN SET TO CLOSE ITS DOORS ON APRIL 7TH!
After two years of service, QCDN is in it's final days and will ultimately shut
down on April 7th 2006 at 12:00 PM PST.
I would like to thank all users for their contributions that have truly made
this board the most outstanding FFXI server community on the Internet.
You have done well!
Many friendships have been forged by QCDN users, and countless (and at times
pointless) battles have be fought on the Flameboard. Users were able to
schedule their events on the Event Scheduling forum, and celebrate their
successes on the Good Times board. Even those who chose to share things about
their real life always found an open ear at at Reality Sinks In ...
You will all be missed.
Good luck on your future endavours, and may you smile every time you think back
at this little spot in the endless Internet, where space is wide and good
friends are too few.

QCDN CELEBRATES 2ND BIRTHDAY
So yes, if you didn't get it, the first article in this newsletter was an April
Fool's thingy.
QCDN isn't going anywhere. On April 3rd 2006 QCDN will be 2 years old. We
have passed some milestones in the recent past, with over 360,000 posts and
over 3,800 registered users.
As birthday celebration I have started an iPod Nano Giveaway. Read the details
here: http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=24775
In an effort to attract more members you are now able to receive referral
credit if you refer your friends to QCDN. Check your User CP for your referral
link.
Another move toward a better QCDN is the creation of a Mission Statement, read
more about it here: http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=24830

QCDN Style Update II
I didn't quite make my self set deadline of April 1st to bring a new style
online and give QCDN a bit more of an FFXI look that is both pleasing and
unique. However, there should be a new style going live within the next
few days.
