Ok, well this has been an issue since I first started posting on this site. I've never inquired about it until now though. For some reason the clock on this site never jives with my current time.

Now I know you need to go into UserCP and set your time zone. Which for me is CST or GMT-6. Forever, I would make a post, and the time would always be off by like 35mins. Which makes no sense at all, since most time zones work in 1 hour incriments.

I have my timezone set to CST, yet at the bottom of the page, where it says current time, this is what it says.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:08 PM.
(this was copied a few about 5 minutes ago, and according to my clock on my compter at work, its 2:03PM CST right now) So the sites clock is still off by like 1 hour and 10 mins.

I'm not the best as explaining this stuff, so hopefully this makes sense. Anybody out there have issues with the sites clock??? I just want it to state the proper time when I post.

Thanks for reading.

Ive also noticed this a long time ago and just didnt pay much attention.. It is kind of annoying, however..

"04:22 PM"

Thats the time I copied, and it was 4:12 as the correct time. It used to be about 30 mins off, yeah, but looks like its sped up a bit

BADA BABA BA-BA!

Not trying to be an ass, sorry if it comes off like that. I've been waiting for the chance to spam links to the Spanish Flea song for a couple of weeks now.

Now whether there's anything we can do about it or not, I have no idea. But it is a common problem to all users so you've done nothing wrong.

lol, I don't think your being an ass Cmdr... I'm the idiot who didn't use the "search" button before I posted. Today is the first time I've seen any of those threads, so sorry for the new thread...lol

You should have used this emotion in your post though in regards to me.. :rtfm:

Anyways, I'm sure this clock problem isn't rocket science, there has to be some way to fix it.

*looks for the dude that posts half nekkid picks of himself and gets all the girls and some men here all wound up* Can't we get NOX to look into it? He seems to be a pretty smart guy...

lol, well, my problem is I never remember what the conversion rate is. lol. I'd have to like, write myself a note or something.

Eh, whatever

I never actually found a reason to want to know what time a post was posted >_>
