QCDN hits 300,000 posts!

Whee!

Now there will be some (I know who you are!!!) who will add the total post counts on the forum home page, and see that it doesn't add up to 300,000. That is because some posts were made to private LS forums that are not visible to the general public.

Unfortunately I have currently no good way to find out who made post # 300,000, as the post numbering is somehow not quite directly linked to the actual number of posts. Take this post it's #302,599 even tho the front page still shows fewer posts than that.
 
So we hit 300,000 post. We type to much, but I have no clue what I would do at work without this place.

Heh, I guess that means we're getting more popular/used? It's all good. I like to think in some small way I helped bring atleast a few people's attention to QCDN. I havent changed my Bazaar message in well over a year, since I joined qcdn, so when people examine me, part of that message reads:

Member of Quetzalcoatl Daily News!
www.qcdn.org <>Please check it!<>

Go qcdn!

So when we hit 500k posts we are offically a 'large forum'?

I remember about 14 months ago when I first found this place and was around lvl 20, I'd /wave and /tell anyone I recognised off this forum with "QCDN {member} {Found It!}". Made a few friends that way :)
 
Easter Egg Hunt 2004, that's when it all started for real. People were spamming to trade eggs, and I would every 15 minutes or so insert a line about QCDN.

Okay so I got carried away.... I am glad to see this community has done much better then some of the others I have seen :D Since I found out about QCDN way back in *ponts at joined date* yeah... and I was there that day Sculli slayed Keits!! A sad day that was.
 
Congradulations... even though I have contributed much, with the little fragments of posts that I do on here...

Gaia is the biggest forum on the internet? O.o (well.. atleast shown on that site) I hated that place XD too big.. some very rude people.. really hard to even get anywhere in a thread sometimes :P

We currently average about 800 new posts a day, so the 500k mark is well within this year's reach.

Keits, ...wow.... I don't think Keits would have been slayed in today's QCDN world.

Yeah, probably not, banning Keits was a judgement error on my part.
