QCDN Linkshell Area explained

[Sculli]

I am a little bit surprised that so far no linkshell has taken advantage of the offer to host their very own forum here at QCDN. I know that a couple linkshells that are represented by their members here on QCDN have their own message boards and web sites, and thus no need for a forum here.

At the same time I am confident that some linkshells do not have any way to communicate with their members offline. So please, if you are in a linkshell that doesn't have an online presence outside the game, do let your LS leader know that he can request a private LS area at QCDN.

The private forum will be hosted within the FFXI Linkshell Area of QCDN, and the LS leader can supply me with a list of authorized users which then in turn can apply to be added to the authorized user group. This guarantees that no board user that isn't a member of the LS can read the LS forum.

LS recruiting and introduction posts still have their place in the Linkshell Recruiting section of QCDN, where they can be read by any user.

I am trying to get my main ls to take advantage of it.. but they never remember to come here.

Only had two memebers of my LS come here AFAIK, and they don't post all that often. We don't have a forum, although I've never asked. And we don't do a whole lot together very often. Some of us are on enough that it's easier to get ahold of us in game than it is out.. lol.
