QCDN operations - one last time, really

So you see the ads. In the next weeks you will see changes to the ads. Those may be different ads (not just google), it may be different ad placements, different sizes, different amounts, etc.

(If this is the first time you read about this, there is some prior development in QCDN operations poll - info about ad banners.)

If you at any time feel the need for constructive criticism, please PM me, or make a factual post to the QCDN Support & Feedback or even to the General forum if you must.

Please keep in mind that whatever decisions are made, are not made lighly and only after careful consideration. Please also keep in mind that these things are sill in flux and if you see something particularly odd, it's very likely that the oddity will be gone the next time you refresh, or soon-ish anyway.

Please do provide feedback. QCDN is about providing a service to the users, while the users don't have the power to make me do things per se, I do take all and any feedback seriously and respond to it quickly.

I don't want people to worry about how QCDN makes money. Meaning that I will do anything I can to cover operating costs. If there is extra, then we will do fun stuff with it, if there isn't enough, then you will see me posting in big bold letter "OMFG I NEED TEH CASHZOR NOW!!!".

I do appreciate every single PM I am getting, but let me say it again, there is no need to be worried, the situation is not hopeless, the situation is well under control and I do not anticipate that to change.

Question. Technically, doesn't everyone benefit from the Gil advertisements?

A) The people who buy it have a direct link from their forums.

B) instead of them googleing the gil selling sites, they click on them here THUS generating income to keep the website going.

C) People who lack imagination need SOMETHING to bitch about!
