As far as I see it, they are paying each other back...because 90% of the LS joined. You didn't put them on your back and carry them, they do quite fine without you, so you aren't the big component you think you are.

So you're saying its ok for a group to reform and the people who made the most out of the previous shell are back on top lotting for more gear, gear that was originally supposed to go to the people who were waiting for their equal share? I do not see how people who have already obtain closed to two full sets, had poor attendance, been members less than half as long as others, deserve the same treatment when it comes to lots. As far as I am concerned, they didn't care to work for the armor so they changed the system so they wouldn't have to screwing out those who did care enough to work for it. Say as much as you like, but the shear fact that all leadership gained full primary, something they themselves stated was the entire purpose of the LS, and then decided after that fact to make a new shell where they are again back on top lotting is more than enough evidence. They knew the system was flawed and it wasn't until after the gained the full primary that the system needed changing. Not when all the previous members who obtained full primary asked for soemthing to be done and then left when nothing changed. No, only when it finally started to effect them.

They decided to encourage membership more, everyone should be able to lot regardless of attendance, length of membership, or how much gear they have already obtained, just as long as you attend. It's not greedy to expect a paycheck at the end of the week is it? Better yet, if you worked a job and it's time for raises. The new guy, the guy who always calls in sick, and the guy who just recieved a raise all get raises, but you didn't. Would you quit? I mean the raise wasn't guaranteed to you, but you did work a lot hard and longer than anyone else. So please explain the fairness in that.

I wouldn't have cared. I left Purpose with over 100 points (1 hour of camping = 1 point) and when I came back to Element (the reformation of Purpose), guess what? I willingly started over with 0 points. I have over 100 points in Element now and have gotten nothing. Guess what? I don't care. Element/Purpose owes me nothing. The shell is probably going to die and my 100+ points are going to die with it. Guess what? I don't care. Learn the real reason to play the game, Lavi. I'll give you a hint. In 10 years, do you think I'm going to give a shit that I have an e.body right now? Now in 10 years, do you think I'll still be talking to people I met in this game? Think about it.

People make the rules, bend them, enforce them, and what do the people who follow those supposed rules?
They have the choice of staying or leaving. Bitching or moaning about the rules will probably not get anyone anywhere any time soon.

I'm sorry I put my real life situation in front of your in-QCDN situation, RoM. That's why I stepped down. I couldn't fulfill my mod duties anymore, and I thought the way the user base treats every other mod is sickening. Purely sickening. So, I stepped down in order to avoid another problem that I would be blamed for.

So eh, I'm done with modding. I have no pull anymore. I'm not going to be "banning ur doodz" anytime, if ever.

The mods have gone crazy. Suddenly, we're back at square one with care bear rules - deletion, editing posts, and everything in between.

I don't know what to say to convince them that they're becoming just like Sculli. Reeve isn't around to really offer any imput whatsoever, and Miros is going rule crazy.

He suddenly wants to enforce every rule (even the shitty ones) to the full extent, bannings and warnings and account destruction all included.

What do you think should happen to QCDN? I want your honest opinion because you're one of the only people I trust on this forum anymore.

No, what i wanted was action from the mod staff aside from Neo stoppin in to jab me instead of locking or deleting the thread in question and actually doing his fucking job. What i wanted was fair treatment. But because it's me it's ok to take an entirely worthless comment and begin pushing my buttons on it for no reason. Skaw replied in that thread and told me specificly what he meant and why my comment was a bit off with relation to the actual topic to which i returned the favor of a civil post with a little more perspective. Uzor started bullshit for no reason whatsoever.

Either way you want to bust it down your XI crowd couldn't keep their dicks in their pants and got their intelligence insulted for making a stupid statement which was brought to Uzor's attention as inoffensively as i have the temperment for. Someone goes out of their way to be a prick, if the mods were to step in they'd be called out - called power hungry care bears and told their playing faves, however if they don't do something they're lazy and don't know how to follow their own rules. Totally fucking rediculous.

I've been here since damn near day one and you want to know how to make this site run like it used too when Sculli was original admin? Ban 75% of the userbase so the quality posters come back and feel comfortable being part of a good comunity again.

Oh and PS: I seem to remember everybody bitching when the flameboard got taken down, I remember justifications like "Waaah if you bring back the flameboard we won't flame in the gen boards! The reasone there are flames in the gen boards is because there's nowhere else to put them" Bullshit. There are flames in the other boards because some of the most vocal members of this board are babies who can't even take care of themselves. The level of moderation that IS NEEDED for this site is rediculous. If people would think before they post and learn how to moderate themselves things would return to the way they were. I was the first mod Sculli asked to join up, and it was awesome because everyone and their dog wasn't a complete fuck-tard and I barely had to do anything. The userbase was more mature and had respect for themselves and this community.

I was a member from the very start. I stayed from start to end every time and never with the exception of maybe 2 runs before you joined left prior to the end of a run. I made sure everyone was raised 10-15 mins after runs. I helped get everyone to the marker on time by teleporting them (sometimes leaving in the middle of a run to get late members)and making sure people had teles when needed after as well. I helped escort leaders to get the hourglass before runs if they asked. I did everything I should have and more. I'm sorry, I think I worked far harder and longer than people gave me credit for. And even without all that, the fact that I stayed loyal to a shell for the whole time making sure all my so called friends gained their gear and then when the roles were changed , they didn't, really says a lot about the friendship. A little one-sided if you ask me. Its ok for you all to use me to get gear, but once you're done, I have no right to ask you for the same in return? And

This was my idea as well but went over like a lead balloon. Truth be told given the last PM i posted i was with Miros. I don't care if i get caught up in it bust some fucking heads already. Take the board back.

What i got? Alot placating bullshit about what i said. When i started actually doing things to empower the moderator staff to get something done or make an example? Nothing. Or more accurately to the extreme opposite of nothing they turned on me completely and let their duties hang leaving blatant violations to stagnate and propigate all over the board by notable posters for one reason or another.

All the bullshit i've pulled on this site and all the shit i've done you know how much in the way of disciplinary action? One warning from Sculli to prove a point about the carebear phase because i called blazn a 'noob' in a post. Complete bullshit. Now why is that? I've been in ur board, behind the scenes, ghost-admin/modding ur doods. Plain and simple, You havent had a person in a pinnacle of leadership position implied or otherwise who didn't ask my advice for at least 2.5 years now until reeve showed up and even then it's debatable as he's not been much more than a figurehead for alyada until recently.

So hate me all you fucking want. Counter-bitch my points and arguments and call me a whinning bitch if it makes you feel better. All i've been trying to do since Sculli fucked up is put this place back together, even if i get caught up in the removal of unsavory characters. And the last time that was done, the whole forum became a FB and a majority of the members were upset by the decision. Cubs was right though, the only original content on this site is the FB. Everything else can be found to some degree on other FFXI related sites/forums and in a many cases, a lot better information with far more detail.
